growing on a golf course
In the top of the South Island New Zealand, growing in short grass


Gills: browns gills
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.

Stem: 40mm length, 2-3mm, whitish/hint of brown, some hollow, solid texture

Cap: 20mm diameter, beige, matte texture, conical, convex

Spore print color:brown spore print


Bruising:
No noticeable bruising

Other information:
Mushroomy scent

Panaeolus foenisecii or Panaeolus cinctulus or some other Panaeolus. Spore print might be useful.

It looks too robust for P. foenisecii, I think this is from the P. cinctulus group.

Ok, it looks like you just squashed the underside of the cap on paper.
To make a spore print cut the cap from the stem and place it gills down on a piece of white paper, cover the cap with a glass or cup or similar and leave it over night.

I'd bet those are cinctulus. The irregular circle the caps make if looking towards undercap and I see the stipe has the sinews wrapping around versus parallel down the stipe.

Nice specimens.

Would you say they are really dark brown or black? Put a black sharpie mark next to it for reference.

Where the spores amassed it looks jet to me maybe the brown is coming from the tissue.
