What do you use to cut the cling wrap without ending up with a twisted plastic mess?

A kitchen knife. They should be sharp enough to go right through without much effort. If not sharpen it till it will.

I tried using a regular knife, just sharpened too. But I could only get through the the saran wrap, once I got to the cardboard it was a lost cause.

I used a serrated knife after I cut all the way around the saran wrap and that worked fine....

So you use a straight edge or serrated?

I used a straight edged chefs knife that hasn’t been sharpened since I bought and was able to push cut through the piece. It’s had daily use for over a year but was still able to do it with some effort. German steel for ya I guess?

Well I guess I've learned something today: I suck at sharpening knives...

Such a nice electric sharpener too. It's made by snap-on.

I'm a hunter Sonia pride myself on this shit and I feel pretty hopeless right now..

Electric sharpeners will not get your blade sharp... there are much better ways of getting a sharp blade... I personally use a waterstone.

whetstones are tough to master but will get your knives sharper than anything else could, just takes a lot of practice.
