Lack of FAE or too much humidity , or both?

I remember reading about fuzzy feet and I was wondering if that’s what I got going on here?
I haven’t been misting more than a couple sprays every other day, but only when it looks dry to me. Still working on developing that eye for surface conditions.
Speaking of surface conditions, how do mine look? I was thinking it’s a little on the dry side and was about to give it a light mist but I figured I seek some advice first...
And I feel like these mushrooms are growing rather slow. They are any where from 3-6 days old. About how much longer until they mature? I was really hoping to have enough for a dose come Friday...

I wouldn’t worry about the fuzzy feet, bod just said the other day it’s probably mostly genetics. Your surface conditions do look dry from the pic. I’d give it a light mist over the tub and let it do it’s thing. I bet the fruits will be ready in the next 2 days.

Ok ya I just gave it a light mist. I doubt they are gonna be ready in 2 days. That big guy you see in the pic is two days ahead of all the rest. So I would think they'll be about that size in a couple days...
I dont know why they're so slow... I've heard of fruits maturing in 3-4 days. Km hoping it doesn't have anything to so with the conditions and is purely genetic...

What’s the temperature in your grow room? Sometimes if it’s too cold they grow slow.

Mine usually seem to just sit around for a few days til it’s done making pins then they just blow up all of a sudden. I bet you’ll be good by Friday. It’s always fun to check one morning and they’ve doubled in size.
This is still the pf classic tub right?? That thing is making you put in work in the patience department.

My thoughts exactly. I'm at this same stage right now. I have a 1000 knots and a few pins. So in a day or two I'm going to have pretty decent pin set of all goes right.

Bro I'm losing my mind! Lol but ya still the classic. Ove got maybe 60% pins on the sides and 40% up top..the side pins are just starting to make their way above the sub.
Ya seriously though itd be really nice if I had enough for two people Friday cus I got family coming up and I already got his Hopes up....

You definitely have enough....just might have to pick some early. How big is your tub again?
Here’s the tubs I use you asked about

I'm hoping for atleast 1 oz from it, 2 if I'm lucky. I put 2 quarts of spawn into it. They say gettinf about 1 OZ from 1 quart of rye is close to 100% BE...
Apologies for hitting the reply button instead of edit...that was an honest mistake.

I’ve had such short shrooms on the first flushes I haven’t needed to dub them really.
If you run multiple flushes you’ll hit those numbers easy. My first one I’ve pulled like at least 45g dry so far over three flushes so I figured it was about done. Then I soaked it and now it’s got a ton of pins again. So should be close to 60 dry off one quart

45gs is not bad at all for 1 quart, and that's from MS too right? If so that really ain't bad at all!
I can't believe you had enough room in those shoeboxes, they're only 5" tall. How thick was your sub?
I dont think I'll let mine go for 3 flushes. I really need that tub for a few quarts I got under my bed. They're bacterial though so I'm not expecting anything crazy but I figured it'll be more than this tubs third flush.
Space is my biggest limitation right now, unfortunately. If I had my own room for this shit you best believe I'd be stacking 60 Qt tubs to the ceiling!
BTW what tek so u follow for grains?

My subs are probably 1.75-2.5 inches. I mostly just eyeball the coir while I split it up. Yep I’ve only done ms so far, but my clone dishes took off I need to get on that can’t believe how fast they go.
I would’ve had to dubtub for a couple later flushes but I had a HC going for my crazy sidepin blocks so I just put them in there. I might keep it awhile it’s been kinda useful for later flushes when the sub shrinks up and pins come everywhere.
Here’s my very first shoebox two days after harvesting third flush and dunking it for the first time. The other side look similar. Same block as my signature.

I just fill a bucket with wbs and fill it with water and scoop off everything that floats then let it sit overnight. Usually I rinse it off before loading into jars but my last round I forgot to on one jar and the myc seemed to love the grain water all over, it grew way thicker than the other ones started with it.

Yah I'm really excited to grab my first clone too. I was tempted to just snag a pin and drop the whole thing on a plate.
I have no idea how close my shrooms are to full size but I really want to clone this one sideguy poking up. So fat and juicy just worried that would lead to more side pins.
TBH I feel like my entire experience with agar has been a waste. I started it to make sure my jars were clean, the I see guys going right from ms to grain with plenty of success (you being g one of them)...%then I realize half my jars still were bacterial..After 2 transfers...I

It’s funny when I started I made four times the jars I thought I needed because I had read constantly about contamination rates and how sketchy syringe to grain was and then I had 0 fatal contams.
Def some bacterial ones but they were fine.
Agars awesome though at least you got the experience with it. I’m just excited for the types of flushes I see on here with cloned cultures. I was just checking my boxes and a Golden Teacher I harvested a few days ago had this big cluster of stumps left with one like a half inch across so I just sliced a piece off and put it on a plate. Idk If it’s all teachers or just the place I got them but every box of them has had super dense clusters.

I think I’m going to go ahead and do what you did once I harvest my first flush. I am doing my first bulk shoebox, I did the unmodified tub, but with no liner. Of course it being my first time as a newbie, I got side pins galore also. I think for my second and third flushes I’m going to take the substrate and put it in a SGFC with perlite like thePF tek cake way that way I can utilize the whole surface area and fruit whatever pins come again because I’m sure there will be massive side pinning again since the substrate has already shrunk a little from the wall on all sides.

Right on shoeboxes are the best. This is how I’ve been doing the ones that I either screwed up or are way shrunk from flushing.

Seems to be working out well so far.
