Welcome to the shroomery,  can you please tell us about your mushroom? What were they growing from, dung, wood (living, buried or dead) woodchips/shavings, soil, grass, etc? Any bruising where handled or injured?

Oops, sorry!

Bigfig84, it’s a good idea to take an in-situ shot of the mushrooms you want us to identify, it really helps us a lot to know what they are growing on and what kind of habitat. If you take a spore print of this mushroom you will find that it will be pink, and that is one of the key characteristics of mushrooms in the genus Entoloma (although there are other mushrooms that aren’t Entoloma that also have a pink spore print).

No, there are some species of Entoloma which are poisonous, and it’s a difficult genus to ID to species level.
