Corner gaps, but don’t want to over saturate...?

One or two corners in my shoebox are pulling away creating a little gap. It seems to be a little shrinkage, probably from dryness or because water is being consumed by the pinning...? I’m not sure, but when I look at my surface level I have shiny crystals of moisture and water. I’m doing the unmodified tub tek, so FAE is already been provided from the lid, I spawned to fruiting conditions. This is my very first mono tub so I am learning, and I’m not sure what to do at this point. I’m not sure what to do because I don’t want to over saturate with misting and screw things up.

Don't worry about the corners pulling in. This happens naturally as the myc colonizes the substrate even if it's well-hydrated. Don't oversaturate with water. Continue to maintain surface moisture without producing puddles or any standing water. Tiny droplets covering the surface indicate a good level of saturation.

Okay cool, because I was debating whether I needed to do it more. I’m just going to leave it. Thanks.

Came home and this has initiated massive side pinning from the space and microclimate formed between the substrate and space. Still don't do anything?

My monotub is pinning, however a gap has occurred between two corners of the substrate and the wall of the tub. I've already misted a couple of times while it has been pinning, and when I look at the surface with a flashlight I see crystal like beads, so my surface conditions should be correct. Really I have heard that I shouldn't have to mist at all before the first flush. I don't want to keep misting and over saturate the surface and mess things up. However, this gap has also initiated a ton of side pinning now. I am not sure what to do? I have also heard that this is normal, the substrate regularly pulls away somewhat from the drying out when it is beginning to fruit. What is true or not and what do you recommend I do?

Side pins will happen sometimes no matter what it seems like. They’ll be fine the caps will just be smushed.
Just try to ignore it for now there’s nothing you can do and each grow you’ll see less of them as you get the whole process dialed in.
My first couple runs had sooo many side pins but by the third or fourth round I’ve learned enough that I’m down to a handful of them.
You gotta relax more man once you get past spawn it’s hard to mess up too bad.

So just leave the gaps as they are? Don’t try to do anything else at this point? Is there going to be more and more of a gap everyday, and can this be detrimental to my flush by breeding any contamination?

It won’t contaminate from a gap. I have a shoebox on its fourth flush and there’s a solid inch on all sides now.
I’m experimenting with packing the sides with verm or peat as they open but I just started so I have no idea what it’s going to do.

Okay, well thank you. I just wanted to confirm if this was a regular thing that happens or not. This is my first monotub grow, I did the unmodified shoebox tek. I'm learning and experiencing the different things that are happening and just trying to find out if there are other things I need to do to remedy that. I was also worried that maybemy pins weren't going to fruit to maturity and stall and abort due to the shrinking and lack of water...? It sounds like to just not mist anymore whatsoever that way I don't over saturate the surface.
