Where do you gets your rye berries? Is there any large company’s that carry them, ive tried tractor supply and they don’t have them and neither do any of the local grocery stores.

I use to order online, shipping might be free with certain places if you get a big bag. I use to look all over locally and never found it. I love rye berries though.

Fancy grocery stores sell it in bulk. Very expensive. Usually like 1-2 dollars a pound.

Never seen at any farm supply or hardware store I dont think feed stores carry it but health food stores usually do. Like DNA said its it's hard to find so you're better off ordering it online.

If your in the suburbs or city I've had luck with heady local food stores with "bulk bin" self serve style products. They usually have a guy in charge of ordering bulk stuff, find out who he is and talk to him. Discounts for 50# bags are a thing as I remember.
If you're in the country, feed stores.

Another place to check is a brewing store. The place that sells beer making equipment and supplies. They often have it in bulk for relatively cheap prices compared to your local grocery store plus you have the added benefit of a reason other than growing mushrooms to be buying it. Nobody is convinced that you're feeding your race horse, but totally believable that you're brewing a nice ale.

I know I'm probably getting ripped off compared other grains, but this is where I purchase my 50lbs bags of rye berries.

A home brew store may also be able to get you a 50# bag of rye. You just want to make sure it's not malted rye. Just plain rye.

Amazon, shipping is expensive..
the biggest secret and best source is azure standard.. ;-)
they have free delivery if you meet them at the drop point.. all over the usa.
farm seed supply stores, you may not alway find organic rye at feed lot stores.. You can get 50lb's of rye for about 30 bucks.

This may be an unpopular opinion. But yellow popping corn works best for me. It is at almost every grocery store and very cheap. I just throw it straight in a pot and boil it until I can squish a kernel with some force and pop the shell open. I then dump them into a colander and load them into jars after the steam stops rising and the leftover moisture is absorbed into the kernels when you PC it. I've had many issues with rye berries and find popcorn to be easier.

Any feed store or farmers coop. Just ask for Rye seed but not rye grass seed. Going to run you about $15-20 for 50lbs.

Not "any" feed store. There's plenty of feed stores around me but rye and wheat are not the typical feed around here, it's oats. I believe it's regional.
