Mycelium starting to turn yellow!

I just checked on my big tub today and I noticed one of my trays that I thought was starting to knot is turning yellow.
I know I’ve been paranoid in the past but this doesn’t look right...

Sorry to bump my own thread but this morning I looked and the yellow is getting darker and more of the mycelium is turning this golden yellow, wtf gives?
I'll take a pic when I'm home later but it's basically the same except more of the mycelium is turning yellow or its spreading and getting darker...

Could be bacterial and a sign mycelium is fighting it off with metabolites

Thanks man, I do trust you. I just would feel better if I had more of an explanation, I guess...
I figures it was bacterial to some degree but am not sure. The fact its spreading to colonized sub worries me...

I start to worry about the metabolites only when it starts to pool up a lot in places, smells gross

I think its from cycles of dry and wet in those spots. If it dries or gets over sprayed it can mat the mycelium. This makes it seem to repel water rather than absorb it. Water pools in those problem spots. Bacteria probably grows a bit. Metabs form it yellows. It dries out and looks yellowed. The cycle repeats. That's my theory. Could be completely wrong. But when i get a corner or two that yellows it goes hand in hand with bad airflow and moisture management in the corners. You'll learn from it make adjustments like fucking around with it less and just leaving your tub be from spawning to pins.

Ok thanks for your theory. It makes sense. I haven't been misting at all but my tub was VERY wet due to not having enough FAE. But this tubs only been open maybe 3 times since I spawned it and that was to look at the surface conditions and take a couple pictures...
There was probably almost a 1/2 cups worth of water that had pooled at the bottom of the tub. I'm assuming that's all water that normally would get absorbed back onto the substrate, but since I am using roasting trays it just collected at the bottom of the tub...dont know if that is a big deal or not...
