Your first mushroom is likely a Pluteus, possibly P. cervinus, but gill shots and more info is needed.

Second one we'll need to wait for it to mature, I guess.

The bee hive looks like a wasp nest.

The Pluteus might be Pluteus atromarginatus, a photo of the gills would help.  You also found an Antrodia.

I was hunting in the Santa Cruz mountains yesterday, at Mt. Madonna.  Didn't see any mushrooms, it was really cold there!

alright, i dident get any better gill shots. im thinking about going up to Felton to look for some oyster mushrooms later today, some were found a few weeks ago when we were still very dry, with all this rain im hopeful ill find a few more.

Oh man lucky you at least found something. I was by Henry Cowell yesterday and not a damn thing after several hours. I'm checking out Aptos today but not expecting anything. Not even my oyster and porcini patches that grow every year are producing. I'm freaking out a bit, what if they don't fruit at all this year!?

nice lol looks like we will be switching spots. those pics were taken in nisene marks state park . i saw a few bolets last week at cabrillo college.
