White lumps with pores on a cake - throw away or eat? Any hope for pins?

TL;DR: After 10 days of birthing there are no pins, only these blobs. What to do?
Ordered a kit of GT online, so no info on the actual tek. The cake was in a 1L container, was colonizing for 6 weeks, after which it was almost fully covered in white except for the central bit on the bottom. Noticed some yellow and blue in there, thought it might wet in there and it's time to birth. Did dunk'n'roll and then used their plastic bag fc, mist/fan 3-5 times a day. After 1 week moved them to a sgfc to get rid of extra humidity.
10 days later still no pins, but a lot of this other growth. I collected a couple, they have mushroomy insides and do bruise blue. The surrounding blobs also got a bit blue when I torn part of them away.
Can someone tell for sure from the closeup pictures what it is?
I read that it can be smth called stroma and it's safe to eat. I was actually about to eat it, but it was full of perlite and the smell was actually quite pungent, maybe a bit sour-ish. But then again I'm not sure what GT should smell like.
Any info is appreciated. Would definitely like some actual fruit after 7 weeks.

I'm not an expert, but I wouldn't eat those. It could be cubensis mycelium, but it could be other stuff. Especially if it took 6 weeks to colonise, but didn't fully colonise and had weird colours in it like you said. I've had similar fluffy stuff on bacterial cakes but still got a few shrooms. Hopefully someone else can say more about it. If it's only been 10 days there may still be hope yet for fruits.

Thanks for the answer Tattersail! Appreciate the advice and a word of encouragement. I went through *a lot* of forum threads and my best guest that this is mycogone. I went ahead and cleared all of this stuff from my cake aaand... today I see a few tiny pins there! But not too many, so I guess it's really nasty stuff that affects the growth. I hope the fruits will be healthy and okay to eat.
