PF classic (cube is a cube, right?)

I've been working with this variety for a while now and I'm balls deep in cultures and spawn and am almost (hopefully) about to see some pins in my first tub UNLESS this whole "pf classic is bred to favor pf tek" thing is true...in which case I'd be pretty upset because the only reason I decided to use it is because I've seen so many TC's on here say a cube is a cube...
Well a cube isn't a cube If that cube will work well in there but this one won't... just saying...
Anyways emotional rant aside, does anyone here have any experience using pf classic with bulk methods?
My spores colonized agar fine, and the agar colonized the rye fine, but the grain has been a tad slow to colonize the coir and I feel as though it's really taking its time to pin...
I'm really hoping I am gonna be alright but can somebody please help me out with some insight?

IMLE, they just don't do very well spawned to coir. I just tried Classics recenty with brf cakes to coir/verm. It also didn't take to colonizing wbs well at all.. Howeever, I had explosive growth with brf 1/2pts and wbr (am just now getting some cakes in my mono/sgfc hybrid after the wbs failure). I got a truly laughable yield in my shoeboxes, while my B+ and KSS just cruised. I'd only done Classic using brf before and by some strange fate ended up with a couple syringes and spare time recently. Glad I spread out my effforts. Interested to see what you get going.

Gonna be funny to try spawning popcorn to coir, extremely lazy combo

This is where I'm stuck once again, got a TC telling me I'm good and a bunch of other people saying it's not a good strain to grow in bulk...
I guess I'm just gonna have to see...

Spores to agar to grain just to be clear but there's a litany of posts (and plenty of comments from TCs from times past) that list similar results. Do what you want. A cube's a cube, right?

Noice. Go figure. Maybe I'll have to run 'em again before I can write it off. Might try them on millet or oats or something else I have laying around here while I'm at it... Colonization rates were insanely different with my wbs...

It's usually just grain prep the variety name doesn't mean much in these terms. They are all the same mushroom

you should do a shit ton of runs of everything. You said yourself limited experience. The pieces you're missing are all the factors outside of the name on the syringe, like random genetics and conditions. More experience makes things more consistent as your skills get better. It's easy to mistakenly contribute different outcomes to the different varieties you're trying.

Those are making my mouth water!
I'm not even worried anymore. I think the only reason I think my spawn colonized my coir a little slower than average is because of my ratios...
My other tray with pf but twice as much spawn is colonizing pretty dam quick TBH..
