No I came into the room to fan them and they were just laying there. Werent off last time I was in the room earlier in the day

cant really see the base of the pins that fell off, maybe some nasty is eating away the base? try some closeups of base of the ones fell off. see if you can determine where they were connected on the cake and get a close up of those spots too may help get this sorted. didnt even think it possible.
