I need some Martha help.

Hello. I have set up a martha with an amazon bought fogger on top, it works well but I need help with fae. I am getting fuzzy fet and side pins bad. at all times I have dew like drops on the surface. I think I need to add a way to evap this water.
I have a clip fan that runs 24/7 inside the martha on the bottom. I do have a bigger fan I can add if that will help. OR should I be adding a fan to exhaust and have that fan on a timer? If so what are some base lines I should use to test the time.
My fogger runs for 20 min even hour. Should I lower this?
What do you think I should do to fix this issue?
If you have a martha what is your setup like? if you have links to your setup I will look at them to see what I can be doing differently.

Set fan at bottom of marth an open the door up in front of fan. A little not a lot for the fan to pull air in through opening worked for me also ran the fan on a timer 2 mins on 15min off every hour

There's a dozen different ways to setup a Martha but the one on this page works very well if you're using humidity controllers and fan timers. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25925194
Sounds like you're cultivating cubes though. Martha's are overkill for cubes and can even make it more difficult than just leaving them alone in tubs.

Honestly I don't find fuzzy feet has much to do with FAE at all. More about genetics and humidity. Lots of open air grows end up with fuzzy feet and ive seen in vitro bags without fuzzy feet so

You might want to try a shoebox just to see how it goes. All I have is a small space heater and my grow area is constant 16% humidity and gets to low 50s without the heater. It took some trial and error but doing a shoebox with a liner to help keep the water in is very simple once you dial in substrate moisture for your room. Now all I need to do is spawn them and snap the lid on and that’s it. Maybe a light mist every few days.

The mushroom had no fuzzy feet untill they were introduced to the martha. but surface conditions have been wayyyy better and no drying out since they have been in the martha. I do not believe it has to do with genetics. The martha has really low FAE and I know this due to pins filling with fuzz on flush 2 when flush one had zero. The mushrooms are also very skinny and growing long. This is all pointing to lack of FAE.
I have added slits to the sides to add more FAE and I have a fan going in the room outside the martha since the room has still air. I also have added an exhaust to my martha
it seems the fogger does not provide the FAE needed like most threads said would be enough.

I did shoeboxes for months, This is to help with them. they would dry out way to fast and only side pin due to bad surface,
also this martha would be automatic with only needing to add water to the fogger every 3 days, I know it just needs time to get dialed in, It make even take a grow or two before its perfect. but when its good it should be better than just a shoebox or dubtub.

I would say being able to figure out how to get a shoebox to fruit well as being a prerequisite to trying to dial in a martha but you do you.

Martha's are a huge pain in the ass and hardly automatic. It's more work not less.
No one can give you settings for your timers. You're going to have to figure that out for your environment. I suggest putting some empty trays in there and then start playing with your timings. If the trays have a light dew all over them and aren't pooling water you're probably headed in the right direction. Run it like this for a few days and keep an eye on it. This is how you will figure out what you need to know.

It's easy to dial in a Martha. This is for cubes but can be adjusted. I put my fan on the outside of the Martha pointing away from it. Then get a cheap mechanical timer. One with 15 min increments. Set your fogger on for fifteen min and make sure it is able to hit upper 90s rh. After fifteen min time how long it takes to drop to upper 70s rh. Should take 20-30 min. If it takes longer than that I cut three inch slits in an alternating pattern down the front of the door or sides. I have pics of the last one if you need them. So with the fan running constant and the fogger on 15 min, it'll be stable for 30 min and evap for 15 min before it starts again.
This method is very forgiving if your fogger runs dry or something else happens. It won't be soggy and you don't have to worry about pumping things in and sucking things out, physics takes care of it. If you need more help you can pm me but I think I have a fool proof way of teaching this. I just taught it to a friend across the country by text and she's been harvesting ever since. That link is basically how I did it but I have some things figured out I might not have out in that journal.

That last picture isn't what would sell me on using a martha or believe its easy to dial one in. That's a shitload of excess for a sad cake.

I mean this is what a cake a bookshelf a plastic baggie and a few nights sleep can do

Mist it once for every four shits and 5 brushings of the teeth.

Do you guys ever have problems with the thermometer/humidity things screen going dim. I have that same black one and when I was running a humidity chamber the display would get super dim sometimes when the humidity had been really high for a few hours.
Id take it out and it’d go back to normal overnight.
I’ve never tried Martha or monotub, but based on what I’ve seen around the site it seems like a mono is a much simpler way to achieve the same thing.

That's a test cake of the strain in growing right now. That's why I included it. X7x is a unique strain. X7x has this dirty pink and purple prints.

My pics are old and I'm building a new Martha for pans which I'm following jakeonacid's tek. So out of my ancient pictures of my Martha stuff...
I've also grown bioluminescent mushrooms and coprinus on accident. I was a noob at the time but im not now. Well I'm a noob at a lot of species but I'm not a cube noob or a Martha noob ;-}> Soon I'll have new Martha pics to share. It is easy with my method I promise

Looks light where the gills are folded over which would leave a light deposit. Its dark in some spots.
I just think its a lot easier to do something even less maintenance than a martha/gh that also gets great results.

Agreed. There's lots of good ways. Personally I want to learn them all. I just had success with Martha's but not monos. So this time I'm focusing on all the things I failed at least go around.
