I found these growing just off a forest path in Buckinghamshire. Can anyone confirm these as Liberty Caps?

looks like Mycena. you'll have better luck hunting libs in grazed countryside. Check the Psilocybe semilenceata (Liberty cap threads) for habitats.

Not liberty caps, these look like a Mycena species.

You need to be looking in pastures and meadows, liberty caps don't grow in forests or woody debris.

Also, when asking for identification requests, make sure to take clear, well focused pictures also of the underside of the cap.
Color and shape of the mushroom's gills is crucial if you want to know what you've got.
