Bananas and serotonin

Does anyone know if they eat more bananas it makes their trips better because they’re high in serotonin? La dieta requires it as a staple in a dieter’s diet. It also requires abstinence because the entities you contact when you do psychedelics hate the smell of period blood and sperm (or semen). This happens when you do LSD, psilocybin, MDMA (for some people), weed, DMT/ayahuasca (smoked, or, technically, vaped/vaporized, whereas aya is oral DMT because the MAO inhibitor prevents the body from metabolizing it so quickly), LSA, salvia, peyote, and some non-psychedelic albeit hallucinogenic drugs such as datura, henbane, and deadly nightshade.
I tried to get laid before but nothing would work, for some reason. I wasn’t really doing La dieta but since I couldn’t get laid, I figured, hey, maybe, everything is determined and that I should try La dieta - because it was apparently impossible to get laid anyway (how “convenient”). So I’m not really doing La dieta, but it made me think.
It sounds backwards because if you have too much serotonin, you could get SRS (serotonin reuptake syndrome) which can cause death. If so, serotinergic substances won’t really have an effect. But it doesn’t work like that. The amounts are too minute to notice anything different and they don’t contain anything that bind to the brain’s known receptorome that interacts with psychedelic substances.
During La dieta most curanderos recommend you only eat plantains (bananas) and rice. This is to keep the body clean and to make sure they don’t eat any animals that happened to be dirty or ate shit or other infectious, contagious things. On the other hand all the bananas should just elevate mood slightly so that you’d feel more comfortable during trips.
Szára said some doses of DMT were too high so that his test subjects couldn’t even remember or explain what had just happened besides it being the most beautiful, and frightening, thing they had ever seen, so if people are looking into mushrooms or ayahuasca, your dose may not always be that high.

I'm not sure. But never once and I heard bananas & psychedelic experiences to be intertwined. Sometimes I feel like placebo is in effect with some of these things. At a high enough dose? I don't think anything cares what you've done or what you've practiced(in a sense).
I've been whirled into complete and utter bullshit and had zero preparation nor put anytime or thought into that trip. It took me by the balls and it was the most unorthodox beautiful thing.
But I know theres some science that backs up experiences with preparation of a diet and whatnot. But, I've never had trouble getting places even after a full day of eating and just the intent to trip with an open mind.
I think the biggest thing that effects the experience is how open minded you are and how well you are at almost surrendering to it. At that point, not much beats that.
But I also go by - "keep it simple stupid".

Trust me, Aya or other Psyches will work regardless of what you do or don't do, nothing will get in it's way except you. I ate my usual diet all throughout my Aya experimentation, i smoked weed all throughout my Aya experimentation, i even masturbated a few times during my experiences, it changed nothing, Aya still worked fully. Now, idk about entities/spirits, but i still had some what i consider to be entity/spirit contact even though i followed no diet and abstained from nothing. Imo, people simply don't understand things and don't know what they're talking about.
A lot of this stuff is mere superstition and serves no basis in reality, imo. I could be wrong, but i highly doubt it. Yes, try to keep your body healthy, but these things will still work regardless. As for Aya, sometimes it doesn't work simply because DMT doesn't get properly orally activated, yet the Harmalas are still active. These are active compounds, as Terence McKenna said, if you take an active dosage of a psychoactive compound, it will deliver itself on the money, if it doesn't work, take more.

Entity contact is a surefire way you know the dose worked. DMT is just weird though because sometimes it doesn’t even work, whether that be tolerance, bad inhalation technique, or you didn’t hold it in long enough. But sometimes it does work. It’s more set and setting than anything else.

They taste gross after too many but are said to be safe to eat for a diet of any kind. I’ve heard eating while tripping is bad because it makes you feel sick already, but if you need to recover energy, it may not be a bad route to go.

Interesting considering I eat 2-3 bananas a day. They are good for digestive health.

I already eat lots of bananas, and never thought of a correlation.
Interesting...

Although it is true that bananas contain serotonin, it does not cross the blood–brain barrier. α-Lactalbumin, a minor constituent of milk, is one protein that contains relatively more tryptophan than most proteins.
I think the potassium in bananas has more of an effect, or not.
