No that is mycelium reaching towards the air. I hope those are fully colonized before you opened them...

If those are fully colonized then you are good to go. I suggest taking a cheese grater and grating them into shoe boxes and mix them with hydrated coir for bulk.

My boxes in my signature are from that method.

How do I know if they fully colonized? This is almost 6 weeks post inoculation

Fully colonized means the mycelium has reached every part of the BRF-cake/jar.
You should see nothing but white mycelium inside the jar. This is important before opening because this means that the mycelium will have the ability to kill all other spores/contamination that might enter the jar when opening it. If it's not fully colonized, then the other organisms/mold might "take over" and start eating the mycelium.
