1000 ways was awsome lol
And yeah, I live close enough to the city and a major, major casino that theres cops all over all the time. My apartment trash wont be getting the organics, and I'll distribute my other trash like myco santa.

Does anyone have warnings against slurrying up tubs and flushing them down a toilet? Or even an empty toilet hole with a huge funnel? Just reattach the toilet with a new wax ring every month? Lol

This thread is so funny. Fuck that old guy anybody who digs shit up in the trash then takes the time to figure out who it is and try to get them in trouble deserves whatever they get. Especially a bong or pipe which technically aren’t even illegal.

All this talk about flushing sub and secretly distributing it among dumpsters reminds me i that movie about POWS that were tunneling out and would walk around with pockets or socks full of dirt and slowly sprinkle it as they went.

The things we do for this stuff.

load it into a tote and fonce you fill it drive somewhere like a river or something and dump it in. My waste goes in a community compost pile that's available to everyone in my apartments. If not there then directly in the dumpster with the cat shit and litter.

I have a few methods:

Mix with sawdust and sterilize, inoculate with oysters, then you have food, the sub is transformed into something not suspicious and it gives you a cover for other myco related activities like running pressure cookers

Worm farm on the porch, 100 gal can handle 3-4 subs every couple weeks, also takes care of all my food scraps and quite a bit of my cardboard/ paper waste too.

Big compost pile out back, when it goes in here I layer with spent oyster blocks and food scraps, add a Couple scoops of worms from the bin and cover with more sawdust.

Can you write up a tek for a small portable worm farm? That would be greatly appreciated as I live in a apartment. I've wanted to do stuff like that for a while. Then I would even have food for my reptiles.

Yeah even as a slurry too much fibrous material can stick to things and clog up the drain.  If on septic it could cause other issues.  Something like a shoebox is fine, but several monotubs would be questionable down the line.

Check out youtube bro literally thousands of videos on starting worm composting bins. Red wigglers work best I believe but Canadian nightcrawlers from Wally world will also compost, probably slower. The nightcrawlers will be better food and bait than the wigglers also if you plan to feed the reptilians.

I’d recommend red wigglers, theyre better at eating food waste than nightcrawlers, and They will live in almost anything, plus their natural habitat is horse manure so spent subs are perfect.,I’ve got mine in a 100 gal hydroponic reservoir on the porch but you could use a monotub with the holes taped up, if you monitor the moisture and add dry material you can avoid any leachate coming out, I used to have a chest made out of fenceboards that was in my kitchen and used as a bench by unknowing guests. All you gotta do is make the tub stays above 50 degrees inside is best, and be sure to bury any food waste and add dry stuff occasionally until it fills, then you take out half and let the worms finish with it in another container for a month or two, sift it and use the castings, throw any worms or unbroken down material back into the main container.

I think I read somewhere that red wigglers and nightcrawlers will coexist and they make a great team of composters. Not sure if this is true you will want to research first. Alot of worm species will compete and kill each other off.

When I lived in an apartment I took any questionable trash to my local forest preserve trash can.  Pop it in a backpack and go for a hike.

That's actually brilliant, and thanks for the anti slurry advice. I will see about starting a compost bin, but I may just have to find a suitable commercial dumpster for the volume of spent spawn I may be creating.
