Hi everyone, I have been growing gourmet mushrooms for a little while but only now am I trying psychedelic mushrooms. I made some  BRF cakes as well as some PRF cakes. Most of the latter became contaminated, I think out of eight jars three were successful. I’m at the stage now where the cakes are fully colonised and some of them are pulling away from the inside of the jar.  I’ve watched lots of videos some say to wait until you see pins before removing from the jar, some say otherwise.  They have been in the jars for quite a long time over a month I will post some pictures for you all. One jar had contamination but then the mycelium took over and consumed it. I’ll post pictures of that one as well.

My question is, do I wait longer or do I birth my cakes and put them in a shotgun fruiting chamber?

The one on the right is trash if it's not stones. One week after fully colonized. They don't need to be pinning first. If they've been 100 for a week, birth and dunk. Good luck.

Hey mate thanks a lot for the help, all the PRF cakes failed. That was my last one. I’m having a lot more luck colonising my grain with my Agar culture that I got from this mushroom.
