The even sadder part is how many people in the psychedelic community, and the counterculture community have fallen back into the whole red vs blue team propaganda. I swear right before 2012 people were waking up; especially in the psychedelic community; and over the years since then it seems like more and more people have fallen back asleep and end up just repeating one side or the other's propaganda.
I remember when most psychedelic people were all saying we're all one, and that we're all one family, and how politics is being used to divide and control us. Sadly it seems those who remember this are now in the minority, either that or the majority of people in the psychedelic community that remember this just stay silent when those who have signed onto one team or the other go at it.
McKenna was right; the world ended in 2012. lmao

Party is where the power lies in American politics. The individual isnt that important. That’s the way our government is structured. If you just accept this fact then you will be a lot less cynical. If you don’t like it you can move to a country that doesn’t force a two party paradigm.
I vote straight down party lines. I will never vote for a Republican even if I like the canditate.

Well it’s your choice to live in ignorance of reality. You’ll grow out of it
Maybe if you stomp your feet and cry about it harder you can change the nature of humanity

Wait, so if there was a republican candidate who ran on policies that you agree with you would vote for a democrat who ran on policies you disagreed with?

Yeah a Republican isn’t going to run on policies I agree with so there’s really no conflict here. Sorry your gotcha is a dud.

I hear you. I still think we need to do away with representative government. Sure the masses are pretty dumb, but i'd rather have the masses vote on policies than on corrupt politicians.
