Have you read the aggreement? I like this part..
Quote:
What is new information, though, is that her agreement demanded she turn over all evidence in which she conversed with O’Reilly — and furthermore, to act like such evidence never existed. Her settlement also required that she “lie — even in legal proceedings or under oath — if any evidence becomes public, by calling evidence ‘counterfeit’ or ‘forgeries.’”
That’s not what people who have nothing to hide require their accusers to agree too. He settled out of court Bill, do you understand how that works?

Yep, paying off a witness.
We had a landlord that some guys I knew (and talk about often) were seeing the same lawyer as the landlord. The lawyer told them the landlord fucked an underage girl for rent. The landlord ended up paying her off after shit hit the fan or something.
He was a real miser, worth over a million, probably several mil. Drove a piece of shit truck that didn't even have a matching door. Run down apartments and buildings.

All that's saying is she couldn't admit they struck a deal/talk about the details of their conversation

And this legislation has already yielded the dividend of Matt gaetz telling Kellyanne Conway "ok boomer" when she attempted to trot out the this isn't the same weed as it used to be arguments

It actually isnt the same weed, today's weed is, as Pollan puts it "a genetic freak, its kinda grotesque really" (the size of flowers/buds now vs how they grew in nature 50 years ago). But thats how we get 30% thc and CBD buds, it just means cannabis has been domesticated to a great extent. But its also harder to find (actual 100% genetics) anything but hybrids, though it might lean sativa or indica. From that same documentary i recall them saying that shops just have someone smoke it and label based on that.
Personally i always see buds like this

Its been a few months since i even saw the skinny nugs of sativa. Though i could prolly seek it out, i do prefer indica dom. The last one was some real Sour Diesel, as far as i could tell. No mistaking that taste, so at least it was related to SD. But then i will hear about White Widow, sometimes called a Hybrid, sometimes a heavy sativa. I guess it all depends on the grow.
But the idea that its "less safe" is nonsense except for counterfeit pens

Fractal420, I think the dispensaries due themselves a disservice with their loose menu descriptions. I'd much prefer to see a gcms read out of Terps along with a heritage map that did not include a clone only parentage.
20 years ago you could still buy clean from seed breeds that were distinct and reliable. Then came sour diesel, the OG kushes, headband etc and everything since them has gone to shit. I mean sure there were known clone only like trainwreck and cali orange but once those hit the scene it all started looking the same. You have to have a memory of the strains and their origins from that time to decipher a menu and find something that doesn't taste like the same dank.
I blame the availability of clones, thc testing and the commercialization of the market. That said there are now popping up dispensaries specializing in land race exotics, consumers are getting smarter and it is coming round.

Does that make them GMO’s?

Id say they are technically bred selectively, however you wanna classify that. And of course its all about the genetics. I dunno if GMOs need to be tinkered with using chemicals but the way weed is grown now is kinda like breeding of animals for the best taste/most meat
I wonder if legit chemdawg '91 seeds are still available for those that wanna go back to the classics.
And yes i remember the headband, sour diesel, white rhino days very well

Lol at '91 chemdawg as a classic, it is a clone only pheno of something (aka origin shrouded in mystery). Seeds of it were just forced via selfing with gilbric acid. Headband and ecsd ditto.
My gut has always said the dawg line is just well selected from mid 80s Dutch stock, heavily on skunk #1.
And white rhino is an f1 hybrid of white widow and mazar-i-sharif Iirc.
Remember when there were multiple northern lights? There still is the orange haired one but there used to be a lime green NL that was very pyschocative.
Back in the 80s and 90s odor control wasn't fully figured out yet so people didn't grow the skunks. Nl is very low odor as was c99 (a selection from Dutch silver pearl seed stock). When odor control hit stride with the carbon filters people went back to the skunks and the dawgs became the thing.
Remember the go'old Thais? Paid $325 for a zip of thai spice back in 90 or 91 and it was really good stuff. Few seeds and sticky sweet like apple sauce.
Or the jamaican "commercial" from the same time? Hard green nugs
Then there was the beasters big bud clones, although we had a brief period where the purps were coming down prior to the switch to big bud up north. Really liked those old school purps.
Neways breeding plants is not GMO. You would need to use gene editing with CRISPR to achieve true GMO. However I think the gilbric acid self crosses and all female seeds are kinda grey area.
