Fruiting Dish Size

Is it more beneficial to have a deeper substrate or a wider one? From what I can gather, a deeper substrate provides for larger shrooms, while a wider may provide fore MORE but smaller shrooms. Is this correct, and if so, does the final weight of the product differ any? Thanks.

Exactly right.Usually the yield averages out to about the same, lots of small ones to make up for lack of large fruits,or vice versa.

Butternut squash are softer than acorn or other types of squash, which makes them easier to cut and prepare.
