Eating just one contaminated mushroom?

So I recently harvested my first mushrooms from my shoebox that started fruiting way early. I'm a little paranoid about them being contaminated, but they smell and look fine to me. Would eating just one of the smaller ones be enough to tell if they're contaminated without getting horribly sick?

I Don't Believe There Is A Such Thing As A Contaminated Mushroom. Substrate Does Not Effect The Mushrooms.
I Had 2 Contams On My Uncle Bens Cake Which I Believe To Be Trichoderma & Verticillium & I Ate The Mushrooms & Had No Ill Effects At All. Great Trip!
I've Read From RR That Most Contams Are Not Harmful To Humans, Especially Trich. All Things Grown From The Ground Were Grown With Trich. (Potatoes, Beets, Other Roots, Peanuts, Fruits & Vegetables)
Think About Wild Psilocybe Cubensis That Grow In Cow Fields. How Many Contams Do You Think Are Present Out There? Yet Me & Millions Of Other People From Generations Past Eat Them With No Problems.
I've Heard That If The Mushrooms Grow, They Are Good To Eat. The Worst That Could Ever Happen Is You Get The Shits For A Day. Nothing Serious.
If They Smell & Look Fine, I'd Definitely Eat Them.

Can’t agree with the first 2 sentences but I concur the rest.
Of course there is such a thing as contaminated mushrooms. There’s plenty of pics of green/black mushrooms in the contam forum. That said, not all contams are harmful to the human body. If it’s not visible on the fruit, it’s fine for sure. Just don’t bother trying to clone it.

When I Said "I Don't Believe There Is A Such Thing As A Contaminated Mushroom". I Meant, Contaminations In The Substrate Does Not Infect The Mushrooms.
That Comes From RR Himself, & If Substrate Had Any Effect On The Fruits Then RR Wouldn't Have Been Able To Cultivate Cubes On A Bra, A Bible, Paper Money, Or Magazines. I've Even Seen Someone Use Cigarette Butts As The Substrate & They Got Great Looking/Potent Shrooms.
Mushrooms Aren't Like Plants, They Don't "Soak Up" Contams That Are Present On The Substrate.
Of Course If You Have Mold On Your Mushrooms Then They Are Not Edible, But I Don't Refer To Them As "Contaminated Shrooms" I Refer To Them As Moldy Shrooms.
I've Found Plenty Of Moldy Shrooms In The Wild With Fresh Mature Ones Growing Right Next To Them In The Same Cow Patty & I Did Not Get Sick From Eating Them.

Something that has mold spores all over it is contaminated, by any myco-sense of the word. I never said fruit “suck” contams out of a substrate.
Anyway, I think we should stop whasting energy on semantics...we’re saying the same thing in different words🤷🏻‍♂️
