Use a sponsor for spores! Disheartening experience isn't worth it!

I normally order spores from known and trusted sponsors. But I noticed a vendor who had some cheap syringes. I am not going to name the sponsor as I'm pretty sure that is against the rules. However, I am going to name some reasons why I made this comment.
From this non-sponsor I noticed the syringes didn't have a fine tip for the needles. Obviously, spores aren't legally sold for cultivation purposes and the need for the sharp needle isn't needed in microscopy. However, I had to use another needle I had on hand. It just makes things easier. Since I do not have a flow hood.
I also noticed the syringes did not show any visible spores. I understand that most spores are not seen by the naked eye. However, the syringes I received from sponsors have always had visible material. I also know that more material can also contain a higher chance for contaminants.
To put it into perspective even further I inoculated 2 sets of WBS with two "strains". One from a sponsor and the other set from the non-sponsor. So far the sponsor jars are showing good colonization as expected. Whereas the non-sponsor is showing ZERO growth. Which is a bit disheartening.
Maybe it has to do with the "strain". But the information I am finding about this non-sponsor is limited and lacking. Which is completely my fault for not doing my research before I purchased.
Today, I inoculated another set of jars from this non-sponsor. This time a whole different strain. I also used an excessive amount of CC to see if I get any results.
All I have to say is. Just order spores from known-trusted vendors/sponsors. You may have to pay a few extra bucks but it's worth it for more than one reason. I think the main reason is safety. Now that I have given my information to this un-trusted vendor. I fear my personal information may be compromised.
I'll give an update on these jars and even show pictures once I am 100% sure these were bunk. When I finally get a flow hood setup I'm going to try some agar work to see if anything comes up with these.
I may have lost some time and money!

Duh. Seems like common sense, if you've read 20+ threads you should know better.

Not all spore vendors want to be represented on the shroomery.
