You're saying the official story should never be questioned? What's your point?
-------------------- I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them. I also attack my side if I think they're wrong. People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

You can’t promote conspiracy theories for years and then suddenly expect to be considered a reputable source of news .

Is questioning a government or MSM narrative the same thing as promoting a conspiracy theory? NO, so why are you trying to equate the two?

I can't speak for 'the 911 truth movement', but you'd be correct in that in general, Jimmy is asking questions.
And again, if 911 is all you got on Jimmy, he's doing pretty good.

"Hey, shouldn't they investigate Seth Rich so at least they can rule him out?"
"Shut up and accept the official story. Evidence is for conspiracy theorists!"

Jimmy Dore : “” I start from the premise that the government is lying and now I just have to figure out what they're lying about specifically.””
Also Jimmy dore :
“” “”This is Rachel Maddow starting at a conclusion and working backwards which is what all conspiracy theorists do. That's what she is. She's a crazy nut, over-the-top conspiracy theorist. —Jimmy Dore on The Jimmy D”””
Is he right ?

You left out the context for both of your quotes.
Nonetheless, Rachael Maddow is clearly one of the great conspiracy theorists as evidenced by her constant Trump-Russia collusion reporting which all turned out to be a giant nothing burger. He's right about her thinking.

So Maddow cant question the official whitehouse narrative of no Russian collusion without being branded a conspiracy nutter ?

You don't seem to understand the difference between believing in something with no evidence, and questioning something because there is no evidence.
Rachael peddled RussiaGate without evidence. Jimmy questioned RussiaGate because there was no evidence.
Burden of proof ALWAYS falls on the person making a claim. If Rachael still believes there was collusion after a massive 3 year investigation said otherwise, then burden of proof is on her.

My friend Bertrand Russell says there's a teapot orbiting the sun somewhere between earth and mars, but he has no evidence of this.
If you question this, then you're not a logical person (using your own logic).

A logical fallacy is a flaw in reasoning which is applicable to ANY logical argument.
If you don't want to argue using basic logic, I suggest you move on to the kindeegarten forum.

To set up his questions, he made assertions, guesses, pulled shit out of his ass, and that is one reason some people don't think of him as serious, IMO.

They don’t have shit on Trump. They got NOTHING. This has been partisan ever since day one and this is setting an awful precedent about the blatant abuse of the impeachment process for political gain.

The above quotes were taken out of context and with important text removed. Jimmy was in a round table discussion about how the mainstream media likes to jump to conclusions long before an investigation is ever done.
The first bullet point Psilynut posted above says "I saw one picture of his room, I didn't see any shell casings" but Jimmy actually said "I just saw one picture of his room so maybe there's more pictures... I hope... I'm sure there are. I didn't see any shell casings"
Sounds a little different doesn't it? Especially when you consider that the point of the discussion wasn't even about the Vegas shooting, it was about how quickly the media jumps to conclusions.
Edit: The Vegas example wasn't even brought up by Jimmy, he was just helping argue how the media does tend to come to quick conclusions.

I can’t provide you with evidence OJ killed Nicole . But, I think he did it anyway . He did it. See how that works , your illogical fallacy burden of blah blah blah didn’t mean shit there . Maybe if Trump didn’t tweet witch-hunt 600 times and obstruct the investigation I would be more inclined to agree with you . The only thing I’ve claimed is that Jimmy Dore is not a news source because he’s not even a journalist he’s a comedian and a terrible talk show host. Like John Stewart , or Trevor Noah without the talent . The other thing I claimed is that he’s a shameless conspiracy nutter who uses conspiracy theories to increase his viewership , and I’ve proven that without question .
