The sad part is that the media is accepted normalcy.
The media is pushing literally everyone but Sanders, Gabbard, and Yang.

Does the DNC want Trump??
They want to continue the 1 party system
The DNC would rather lose and continue to fundraise off of Trump and the evil GOP, further enriching themselves as well as having the immunity idol of being the only other game in town.
Why would they want to win? Y’all think the Democratic establishment wants to enact the progressive agenda that their base is clamoring for? They’d be forced to choose their donors or their base, further fracturing the party and opening the door to a third party. Nah, they love being the opposition with their hands tied.

And when the lose in 2020, they'll just start another witch hunt on Trump and ignore the American people.

Attacking trump gets them money, and let’s them cling to power. And continuously losing to the right allows them to keep up the charade that they’d do things differently.

-------------------- I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them. I also attack my side if I think they're wrong. People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

That is not what is going on at all. The latest elections the left has won key positions in historically right wing states.
The problem is the left is afraid of being left. They cling to moderate aspects of the party to win swing voters.
