Do you own a really good pair that've lasted forever? What do you like? Over the head classic, or ear buds? Bluetooth, or oldschool wired?

I've had mine for ages and they've worked great despite having had to re-glue the foam back on from time to time. They're from Denon although i do'nt know the specific model. Over the head and wired ov course. Earbuds and Bluetooth sound like one would need a doctor so i keep it oldschool.

Over-ear open back, preferably. The Audio-Technica mx50 or whatever are ballin' but my wife managed to thrift shop me some Bose quiet comfort headphones for $1. I just had to buy new pads and whatever

Sony MD7506's are my go to over the ear units. They aren't as fancy as many, but dollar for dollar they are probably the best value:performance on the market.
I've been using Tin Audio T2 in ear monitors for some time now as my to go option. They have fairly large dual drivers so without an amp they are a bit tinny (ironically) sounding, with an amp they sounds really solid though.

I love my Sony MDR-VR500 DJ headphones. The design is perfect for what I use them for. I use them almost everyday.
They are probably like 10 years old now but they still work well!

I use Denon A-HD2000 and Sennheiser HD-650 with and without an Objective 2 headphone amp. I much prefer the Denon cans to the Sennheisers.

Sennheisers. Everything that sennheiser puts out is good, but especially the stuff above $300.

Sennheiser Adidas sport ear buds omx 680 with hooks, good sound, super comfy even running, waterproof and durable. I then attach an apekx bluetooth unit. They haven't made em for years but that's okay cause they last forever iirc the cable is kevlar reinforced

Sennheiser HD1 wireless are definitely my daily wear headphones.
I tend to prefer the sound of my Audio Technica ATH-M50 but they're a heavier and wired, which makes them a bit more of a hassle compared to the Sennheisers.

Has bluetooth caught up with wired connections yet? The last a checked the answer was no, but I haven't checked in a few years.

If you look at the specs, I don't think bluetooth compares to wired.
However, I don't think many people can tell the difference. If you aren't critically listening to really high quality audio from CDs or Tidal or something, I don't think it matters. At the risk of kicking up the debate, most people can't even tell the difference between WAV and mp3.

I graduated from MP3 to lossless years ago, in the music circles I frequent the switch to lossless was a natural progression. I just remember bluetooth being god awful. In my car I can tell difference between BT and wired, but the difference is small, and often the convenience of BT means I go for that instead of plugging in. Car audio by all measures is generally garbage, even when it's good, just by nature of the sound stage so it's not a big deal really. At home, if I play wirelessly I do so lossless, but the rest of the time I stick with wired. Especially so with headphones. It just seems silly to me to use $400 headphones and immediately cut audio quality by using BT. Might as well buy cheaper headphones.

I like studio monitor headphones, beyerdynamic-dt-770
Are the ones I used to have. Fun to dance in because you can't hear anything but the music, even in a busy city.

Yeah Bluetooth was starting to annoy me. The audio quality was decent enough for me but the glitching/cutting-out audio drove me nutz. Its one of my pet peeves. Had to stop using it. I still use it sometimes but would rather not given the choice. Aux In is just way better sounding.

I’m a musician and I’ve worked with some significant musicians and producers. Anyone who knows what they’re doing at all uses audio technica ATHM50x. You can get a little Bluetooth connector built for it that works great for $50 more. Industry standard.

Sony MD7506’s are more so an industry standard in my experience. But it would be hard to even gauge it in some quantifiable way. 7506’s have just been around longer, so naturally there would be more of them I suppose.
ATHM50x are great headphones, they are in my opinion a logical evolution of the MD7506, this despite being from another manufacturer. The removable cable and larger drivers are adventageous. I think the Sony’s are better constructed though, and they are cheaper. I also like that the 7506 comes with a repair schematic, it’s a next level move for somebody interested in servicing their headphones like me.
