California current spore policy

Hey all,
New to the forums, apologies if I break any of the rules!
What are the current spore laws in California?
Most of the info I can find seems old. It must have been updated especially with decriminilization in Oakland
Even if the laws still indicate that possession of spores is an issue, how would that be enforced if you were sent something from out-of-state? For example, if they check the mail at the border you aren't in possession, so it's not illegal (?), and also if it does get delivered the only way to confirm you are in possession is to literally raid your home.
Just seems like a v backward and unenforceable policy.
Looking forward to learning!

This isn't describing manufacturing just possession?

Not much point in having spores that will be going bad if not cultivated. No idea what a spore charge is in cali. Probably misdemeanor yet cali jail or any jail isn't that fun.
If mushrooms are that important you'll move where they grow wild.

Importing and exporting into/from the state are illegal. Possession is technically legal, but is evidence of intent to manufacture which is illegal. Still, lots of people do have them, and some vendors in other countries will ship there if you're really nice and keep it on the down low. If you get caught with them, expect a manufacturing charge.
