 Grain Jar Colonization Times

I currently have ten of my quart grain jars that were inoculated eight days ago, seven of which are performing quite well. The three remaining jars show no signs of growth so far. One is B+, and two are PE. The B+ jar was injected with 2 cc, and the PEs were injected with 3.33 ccs each. I did not shake them after injected based on information that I read about keeping the spores close together initially. I shook the three jars today though to see if anything occurs. Should I inject more into them? How long should I wait before abandoning the three jars? They are still sterile like the rest of the jars so if reusing them is possible I am open to any and all advice and/or suggestions.

Your first mistake was going MS>grain. With no growth at this point, something went wrong. Toss them and start over. If you don't wanna learn agar, you'll have to stick with PF TEK. If you learn agar, then you can use grains.

Doesn’t hurt to give it more time. I’d wait a couple more weeks.

I guess at the very least I have the seven jars that are colonizing quite nicely. I just obtained everything to start agar the other day and that is my next pursuit. I sincerely appreciate the sound advice.
