School doesn't make you smart; it's supposed to make you knowledgeable. Whether it still does or not.... eh. However, it does open doors, it's just that it won't take you straight to the top. You need to pick an industry, get in the door, become a respected expert; then leverage that degree to propel yourself into a more specialized and higher paying Position. Take myself for instance. I'm known in my job as the area expert. Above me are regional specialists. The problem is I'm more knowledgeable and skilled than my regional specialists; so he comes to me for guidance; then goed back to his meetings and repeats what I've shown or told him. He's months from retirement and his position is needing to be filled. I applied for the position but was rejected because... "We are only selecting applicants who possess a bachelors degree or higher". I have been invited to meetings of this group to help solve difficult problems and I am well known and respected for my skill, knowledge, business accumen, etc. But, without a peice of paper with a signature on it that says I attended 4 years edu. I'm given 0 consideration. Eh, that's life.

"We are told 'no', we're unimportant, we're peripheral. 'Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.' And then you're a player, you don't want to even play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that's being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.” - T. Mckenna

Farting, the fermentation of the sugar-state of love. I’m with Jesus, Icelandic bananas are but eagle-dominant cherub fed French fries, and the fruit of the vine, nightshade and illumined cigarette embers of the rebellion.

Yah but you only remember so much of college and they don't teach very well. I got management and administration and neither teach those skills. I've ran a business and it's a little different then college trust me.
