Preemptive actions for Mushroom Growers to stay safe.

I'm interested in advise particularly for people growing active mushrooms to stay outta the criminal justice system.
Open to hear anything to be aware of... suspicious things in the trash, computer firewalls, angry ex's, anything that has been bad news for a mushroom grower.
Makes me wonder what the most common reason for a bust is...
Thanks in advance ~

If you dont tell anyone and dont sell them. Then you are very safe.

Yeah what he said, just don't tell anyone... Make up a person in your head and call him Dave. You need to make yourself think Dave is real... Dave is where you get it from

THIS.
The only way to remove all risk is to not engage in illegal activity. Otherwise the above advice is best for mitigating risk.

If you can make it so you dont have to create a "Dave" thats superior. If no one knows then there doesnt have to be a "Dave"

Okay, I'm hearing that. I guess I'm dreaming of more specifics. Like regrets that people had after a bust.... keeping a sales ledger... have unencrypted texts.... stuff like that.
Where do people get sloppy?

The worst ones are like you said mad ex girlfriends.
But other than that
They cant get a search warrant until they know for sure you have shrooms in there. Which means sending someone to buy them.
So dont sell, dont tell anyone. Its not worth it, this isnt weed, they will fuck you.

Don’t sell them, don’t tell anybody about them. Don’t leave shroom trash at the road. I take mine straight to the transfer station and never at the same time either.

What about finger prints on bags? Are they often used by law enforcement?

I'm far from paranoid.... I'm just thinking about being smart. I've been at it for 10 years and some of the things I do are boring to me and I drop my guard. I almost shared my Amazon Prime with my father.... til all my science purchases were remembered. ha.

Glad I don't have a 12/on/12/off power bill I'm trying to mask like pot growers have. Or attempting to back fill my sewer with stank weed air. We do have it a lot easier.

Would your dad narc on you? I know my family is not the coolest in the world. But I am certain they would not turn me in for drugs. I'd be more paranoid of buying mushroom related items on Amazon than I would my family knowing. Incase Amazon would just hand over that information and it be used against me or something.

If you dont give them to anyone then there is no risk of bag fingerprints.
Also having one shroom lightbulb running isnt going to alert anyone of anything.

Anything else? If a bust happens, is there anything they use to build a case that can be preemptively done on our end to help look better? I know they weigh all the substrate and multiply that weight by street value of a dry 1/8th. Or I've heard they do. Thats crazy.

I know this post of mine is redundant... so has someone made a bulleted list of do's and don'ts? In particular about growing?

What always deterred me was the chance someone breaks in or you have a fire and the authorities get called in for something unrelated to the shroom grow and they end up finding it. Outside of that telling nobody works but you can’t control the small chance they get called in for another reason.

I worry about the same situation. That’s really the only way you will get caught. Bad luck.
