A pop bottle won't work in the nuker though, it'll melt.

I've also wondered about the viability of a huge jar of substrate. I know a few teks vary from the standard 1/2 pint jar to 1/4 pint or as larg as quarts (just over 1 litre).

The one thing that might be crucial (don't go by my word though) is to add more moisture than most recipies ask for, because with a jar that size, you want to make sure you utilize the whole substrate and maximize the amount of flushes.

I think it'd be a big waste of time and spores. But go ahead and try it anyways if you want, it's all in the name of science.
