That tub is super contaminated, I would toss it. What is dangling down from the top..?

Don't toss your tub, let them grow and you'll still get mushrooms.
It may have some bacterial contamination but your main problem is your conditions.
From what i can see probably to dry, I can't see any condensation on your tub walls and your sub is looking like its bruising blue from the lack of moisture. That's why they all fruited in the middle I think.
Spraying above the tub letting all the mist float down to settle on the sub, and don't spray directly. only respray when the fine droplets evaporate.
The more holes you have in your tub the more you'll have to spray.
Otherwise, your prep looks good
Its a thermometer hanging down. I would get rid of it and not worry too much about the exact temps and humidity. Try read your sub and learn what it wants, everyone's conditions are different.

While it's not the healthiest looking tub I've ever seen, tomentose overgrowth isn't contamination. What are you seeing that makes you say it's toss worthy?

Yeah i'm not seeing anything toss worthy...that pin set isn't the worst and as long as it's trying I say let it grow

Because the pins are isolated in the very middle while nothing is growing where the puffy looking myc is all around them, I was assuming that it was all contam around there.
Very well cold just be tomentose growth, I just have not seen myc look like that

Absolutely no reason to toss your tub, let those babies grow!
Could you share a pic of the bottom right side of your tub where the myc is less thick and bright white? The corners of a tub I have growing right has that super thick myc in the corners, and I just don't see any droplets of water on that growth, even though the rest of my surface conditions are pretty good (lots of little droplets). I'm interested to see if there are drops of water on that other type of myc on the bottom right.

I would agree, though tomentose myc can make reading surface conditions difficult. I would ditch the hygrometer; they're misleading at best. Are you doing something to keep rh running that high or is it happening naturally? Constantly high rh isn't a good thing as it will discourage evaporation(which is a pinning trigger). If you are running something like an ultrasonic fogger I highly suggest you discontinue using it and let the tub do its thing.

thanks much! i gave it a mist last night, n they really seem to like it. i feel silly for letting it get so dry, my 1st tub was too moist so ive been afraid to add some. i wanted to, but i read that condensation on the tub is from temp difference and isnt always necessary with proper FAE. the xtra moisture really seemed to help tho, and in jus a short time. advice much appreciated thx !

yeah i ditched the hydrometer and i dont do anything to raise rh, its 55% avg n the room. id like it lower but i cant seem to do so without drying it out.. hell i dried it out and still maintaining 99% lol

That pic is super low quality so I can see the surface moisture at all.

If the part of the tub in that pic doesn’t have little beads of water on it, it’s probably too dry and you should mist. If your thick bright white myc is like mine, I don’t think it’ll bead up no matter how much you mist (it’ll just pool, which is no good.
How much water + how much verm? What did your field capacity seem like?

*hygrometer..... unless you're measuring the density of liquids😁

yeah its beaded now, n your right the heavy stuff soaks it right up. idk the amount, i used kits but the field capacity seemed good. i had to use ac for a week in a small room so it had a lil breeze. im pretty sure thats how it got so dry.
