I confess I was very high while writing this.
I am germinating spores from 4 different strains (actually am now at 6). I'll keep making transfers until I am ready to use it so I dont have to start from spores when I finish this batch.
I see. I usually put my cultures that we don't need for a while in the fridge and take transfers as soon as I want to grow them out.
Saves a ton of unnecessary transfers

Good advise Tweeq
I would only add that you should put your culture plates into zip lock bags and then a small sealable plastic container. This protects them from temperature fluctuations that may cause condensation On your plates.
Look at that confession thread being helpful again...

I confess that I have big phobia for needles
Funny thing, this hobby included a lot of work with syringes/needles Damn!
So when I made my first LC, and the jar had little hole that I made with a thick nail, so when I was trying to drag the LC there was either vacuum or syringe just got stuck of mycelium ( was still completely fresh on these things ) I tried to pull the syringe very had (not going to do it again, and trying to stay away of coming back to LC) the syringe shooted out of the jar and I stabbed myself with the needle trough 3 fingers almost in the middle with the needle coming out of the last finger, got panic shock but was in the middle of work, so I am like aaa hmmm whats now, I remember first thing that popped in my head was this ironic joke ( mushrooms will start growing out of my fingers ) after few seconds i managed to take out my hand out of SAB with this syringe that had long needle and like I was trained all my life, to do these kind of pull off things fast fast. So I am grabbing this syringe and trying to do super fast movement to pull it out, did go fast but not lightning sped like I was hoping I am taking of glove, and probably hitted some veins, wow I was bleeding alot. So to continue work, I put new glove, flame the needle and inoculated jars with the LC I managed to drag in.
What an experience for a person that is affraid of needles, hahaha!

I confess had to pour new plates but pouring plates is fun! altho my parafilm skillz suck

3 each GT, B+ and PM (purple mystics, a cube)
got 20 plates easy from a premix MEA & 430ml water, used instapot to sterilize, let agar cool to 125f-ish (still got a lot of condensation in plates) and got my thin pour down pretty good!
probably could have gotten 25 plates- the last plate was a waste dump of remaining agar, 3/4 full, used it to cool syringe and loop, then threw it away (should have kept it
today the lady and I are making and inoculating a couple dozen cakes, high time to get this show on the road

I confess... just did about 20 transfers in front of my flow hood for the first time. Super nervous that it wont work out!
Guess we will find out in a few days..
I did about 20 plates just normal transfers.
Left 2 plates open in front of the hood for about 10 min as I was staring at them in amazement
If this work it will change everything, also cleaned my whole GH for this. Was really time, the water in my humidifier was gross!

I confess that I am reading shroomery while being a substitute teacher in high school.
I confess that, hearing abut the students gathering money to charity, I wanted to offer some "cool" student the opportunity to work with agar 2 hours for 40$.
Man that would have been so cheeky - imagine me being being complimented for giving a student "hard science work" for their charity collection. Such a cornerstone of society.

also I confess... Im a SAB worker now for the mean time because of it. wish me luck. its been a while. I usually only use it these days for cleaning up bacterial or moldy cultures but Ive got lots of A2G to do. luckily I pc'd my grain in advance in preparation for the outage
