For real tho, has Joe Biden been running on anything other than "I'm Joe Biden" and "Let's beat Trump"?
maybe my problem is getting my information via memes but was able to find out Bernie, Yang, and Warren's policy positions through people discussing them in popular forums but the only thing people discuss about Joe is the creepy fondling of children that prevents me from ever advising anyone to vote for him and him senile yelling strange phrases at people
is there anything in his platform to excite US citizens? Does he have a policy for Universal Health Care?

I'm late to the party it seems. I know not a single person who is supporting Biden, but my observations are anecdotal. I do know a lot of people who are voting for Trump (I now live in a small, conservative community). That said, I do know some people who are supporting the same candidate that I support: Bernie Sanders.

Not surprising to me at all. Warren was a Republican for much of her life, back-peddled on many of her strong progressive stances during her campaign, and, lest we forget, supported Hillary during the 2016 primary. I could smell her bullshit from a mile away.

I'm just wondering. I think Bernie is the best candidate, and I would give my vote to him well before Biden. But, let's say Biden is the one on the ticket. Would you all rather be able to say that you didn't vote for Biden, or vote Trump out of office? Should the perfect be the enemy of the good?

Do you think it would do more harm than another four years of Trump? Forget TDS; he's not exactly been great for the country. Look at our preparedness for a pandemic.

perfect should not be the enemy of good but neither should that argument be used as often as it is to justify not rising to meet the moment. If we always fall for it, we'll continue our downward slide.

Some will vote for Trump, some might vote for Biden because they think it's the lesser evil. I think plenty will just not vote at all, or will write in bullshit (like Bernie) and void their vote

Its a real dilemma. Do you vote for the sleazy politician who sucks the big buainess dick? Or do you vote for the kind of guy who is getting his dick sucked by the sleazy politician?

Well reality is often very disappointing. Sometimes we have to select the least harmful option available.

Sometimes, but not every time. Sometimes the lesson is more important.

Yeah, I think we'll have a repeat of 2016. Nobody under 30 will vote. Imo voting Trump out of office is important. At least one wouldn't have to vote for Hillary again.

Well, with any other incumbent I might say that. Trump is the worst president in the history of the republic, but any standard. GWB is now second, which is sad.

get the privilege of looking at this as a Canadian not casting a vote but Biden red flags my triggers when he gets around kids and think my disgust with potentially discovering to have voted in support of a child abuser would weigh more heavily on my conscience than abstaining from voting and then having to fight as a guerilla rebel against a Hitler-esque democratically elected totalitarian reign
the gross part is that of the two, Biden being discovered as a child abuser is more likely than Trump getting around the apparatuses of split government power designed to mitigate such a grab for control as most recently demonstrated by the low likelihood of the department of justice receiving authorization to void citizen rights
sure, it is entirely possible that Trump or even Bernie are child abusers who are good at hiding their transgressions and Biden is just innocent and weird but, again, it comes to the vehement red flagging that exists for me -- to ignore it and be wrong would weigh more on my conscience than having no indications and then finding out something terrible about a candidate

A vote for someone with a [D] in front of their name is a vote to shift the Overton window towards the more radical left. That's the thing so many people seem to not understand. Even if you have the two blandest milquetoast candidates who are almost impossible to tell apart, voting for the one with an [R] in front of their name means voting for a majority caucus that has to get legislationppast white nationalist Steve King, and voting for the block of tofu with a [D] means giving power to democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. That's just the way it is with partisan politics being how it is.

Trump was one of those guys who used to hang out woth Epstein. They all run in the same circles. Joes is just too old and senile to cover up his creepiness at this point.
