Didn't you hear? Qannon is a deepstate antifa psyop designed to identify and eventually round up rightwing dissidents.
As hilarious as it is, please stop believing everything you read on the internet.

I was talking about Kislyak and Flynn. The thing he plead guilty to.. and was pardoned for. I'm not on some collusion hype train, but it's disingenuous to pretend that there wasn't suspicious shit going on.

Pretty much same here. You want to say: Both parties are corporate friendly capitalist imperialists ? Sure.
But not really, not 100%, not every member, not in every way. It's just not true. 50ish% of members in the house support medicare for all, which would indicate that not every Dem is the same. Obviously.
It is suspicious/problematic whenever someone tries to promote the idea that they're all the same. Suspicious because, saying they're all the same is a nice cop-out to not give a fuck, stop voting; or say, "fuck government", "government is bad", "we need small government", ... which turns into libertarianism.. which.. huh.. starts to look a lot like far-right nonsense... ...
Problematic in the other direction because there is a tendency to say "they haven't voted for x policy I personally want, so they're all bad", "they aren't as far left as me, therefore they have to go", "they all have to go", which turns into pointless revolutionary ideation, and no progress.
Window dressing? Immigration, abortion, gun rights, etc are life and death issues for a lot of people.

I'd imagine it has more to do with confirming appointments, but what do I know.

Unfortunately getting pissed and yelling about stuff doesn't really fix any of the problems; people have tried.

The thing you've got to understand dude, is that none of us actually care if Biden is The President. If he's a stuffed suit being wheeled around, good. That means younger smarter staffers are actually in charge. We don't want a god-king ruler. Shit, most of us here didn't even want biden.
If Trump had just fucked off and gone golfing, he might have gotten a second term.. But instead he had to be an ego maniac, flapping his big dumb mouth all the fucking time. Comparatively, I haven't the slightest clue what a single thing biden has tweeted. Does he even have twitter? Who knows.

This is my problem with the "They're all the same, fuck it, burn it all down" crowd. The folks stockpiling ammo are not the "lets give everyone healthcare" kind of people.

How did gay marriage get passed?
I was watching some vid with duncan trussel and.. some guy, at a psychedelic conference. Cool overall, but one thing mentioned was- We tend to think of science and progress like an argument, where the best idea eventually wins out. But, their point was, that doesn't tend to bear out. Actually, what happens is that all of the old people who hold the old ideas die off eventually, and the young people with new ideas take over.
