Really diggin stellaris on Xbox right now, we're pretty far behind on the updates compared to PC right now, but holy shit this game is good... Not for everyone though, steep learning curve and some matches can last for fucking ever lol, the beginning stages can be a little boring once you've done it a few times.

It's sorta like risk in space, mixed with civilization... I fucking love it.

It just hit game pass recently, but if you're looking for tips online make sure your searches contain 'console addition' and/or '1.7'.. The PC version is at 2.2 or something right now and is apparently quite different,ma lot of the advice you get reading about the PC version is basically useless when it comes to the console edition at the moment.. They are planning to upgrade it though, it's just a matter of when.

I'm playing 7 days to die for the first time.  Latest alpha patch made it a LOT better apparently. Been enjoying it so far.

Just started The Sinking City this evening. Seems kinda tossed together but still just getting into it. Big fan of Cthulu mythos and the atmosphere is compelling. A lot of mixed reviews but I kinda like the toned down aspects to it. Kinda has the feel of an oldschool 3rd person horror game like Resident Evil or Silent Hill.

Sonic titan, if you like the Cthulhu myth is you should try an indie game called lovecraft’s Untold Stories. It’s a rogue-lite shootem up random map generation with four different characters stories. You start as a detective and work your way through four maps for each character, it is heavy on the reading bits creating a unique narrative that is loyal to the mythos. I am right now playing Darkwood on ps4 it is a top down survival horror with item management and scavenging mechanics. You all should check it out!

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3 and Bayonetta 1 and 2 on Switch

was trying to find Bayonetta for a while, but could not
so ended up getting Marvel UA for a similar gameplay style
did not find it to be such a huge departure from previous titles in the series once it gets going
but it is incredibly slow to start, requiring both unlocking multiple characters and leveling them up sufficiently to have several skills each
before the flexibility of the synergy-centric combat opens up a bit

also the helper AI is abysmal, making a number of the group mechanics frustrating as shit in single player
could see it being a blast to sit down with 2-4 players tho

Bayonetta 2 is amazing
previously never got it after the series jumped to Nintendo -- had a Wii U for a time, but after moving away from my gamer roommates in Saskatchewan to renting a room in Manitoba
did not have access to a tv to hook it up to
so the Switch version is my first exposure, and basically everything lovable about the first title has been turned up to higher levels of ludicrousy
but because the story and stuff is still new to me, play Bayonetta 1 (came as a free download with the purchase of the 2 game cartridge) or Marvel UA in mobile mode
or when unfocused/listening to D&D podcasts

the added costumes for Bayonetta 1 are hilarious as well -- dressed up as Princess Peach with a pink thong spanking angels
am so glad Nintendo got a bit better humoured about themselves again xD

on PC, have been working through a game of Civ 6 as Dido of Phoenicia on one of the new Continents and Islands map settings they added
the harbor-heavy focus of the leader works real well with it, and my empire is this neat sprawling network of coastal cities
while everyone else settled in-land
but am also looking at booting up Bayonetta again just because it feels so nice and smooth on PC
maybe go back and wrap up a bunch of random cheevos

My friends mother drew a giant detailed map of the game back in the 80s. It's pretty awesome

Picked up the new call of duty today and wow, is it shitty!

Every multiplayer match I played was broken it was so laggy, the maps were mediocre at best, the game modes all feel like poorly executed battlefield rip-offs, and overall the gameplay’s clunkier than previous installments.

I brought it back for a full refund.

It's on Xbone and PS4 as well
the PC release makes me kind of bummed actually -- Epic sniped it for a year exclusivity
so now either have to cave and get yet another trash launcher for my desktop
or wait until the Steam release

Give over that hundred now you dumb fucks.  I don't even need to post all the other shit.  Do your research first.  And I loved the last two.

Been putting in some time each day on ESO going dragon hunting
the Dragon world bosses are not hugely mechanically exciting,
but ZOS is currently running an event where every 5 dragons the community kills, they give a dollar to animal welfare charities
https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/slaydragonssavecats

so running around as an off-healer keeping people alive and putting in damage

Playing Dark Souls 3 and really loving it. Beat the first two DS titles with perseverance, and Demon's Souls. Played the hard ass dlc in 2, but not in DS1 yet.  This version of DS3 included DLC so I'm pumped.  Fighting the Dancer of the Boreal Valley now, fun fight.  The long wind-ups are such and invitation to be greedy!

The ringed city DLC or w/e from ds3 was one of my favorite areas out of any of the games :awesomenod:
