$60 NZD so about $38 USD. I'm in New Zealand it costs an arm and a leg to get anything posted here, especially big things like a pressure cooker. The one in the link you posted is about $80 USD for postage
Didn't notice your location, sorry. I played guitar with a guy from nz who was amazed how much cheaper guitars and amps were in the US because of shipping and import fee stuff in nz.

probably somewhere around 200 but I think it's worth far more than that with all it does.
They are going for 240 on amazon right now. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0093PL8YA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I do have to have both settings(heating and cooling) on max for my desired effect.

I used to use that type and always had heat issues with handle, i mean you can macguyver it to work enough but, I found out about these not long after and never went back unless you heat the blade for a long ass time the handle doesn't get hot

Keep in mind this project will usually take some modifications to work as intended.
This is what it all evolved into for now... it’s smaller, lighter, easier, less work and just as effective!
Later I might still add a couple outlets with quick charge USB ports so that I have power and charging capabilities in whatever space I use as my clean room.
I added a couple 99.97 Hepa pre filters

The little aluminum cylinder on the back of the unit inside that open box is the potentiometer nob. Right now it’s around half speed, maybe a tan higher.
I took the entire filter off and found a good spot to drill the hole for the potentiometer Nob to slide through from inside the unit out (the potentiometer is inside the unit behind the main Hepa filer). I purposely put it so that it would come out of the unit meanwhile still inside one of the boxes on the back to protect it.
I added a latching push bottom switch with blue led light with a resistor (had to modify with a resistor for it to work)
I have yet to use it for a session but I did run it for a good 10-15 min and it’s a dream come true!

This unit is a Japanese FFU (Filter Fan Unit) and it is pushing the same specs as a Flow cabinet or Flowhood, much much smaller and lighter and cheaper to acquire and to get up and running.
These units fit in the spaces between ceiling tiles in clean rooms (lab type setting), they themselves fit into the ceiling like those tiles and I got one from eBay for super cheap.
The vendor I chose was like a government seizure type business so they have great stuff for cheap.
My unit was use but looked brand new and they even sent it with what looks like a brand new filter.
Most important of all I had to build it a stand so that the unit will not fall no matter what which I added it to the wooden back piece that was also an addition to the unit for holding the prefilters.
The 2 pre are 99.97 Hepa filters but I then had to be able to adjust the fans speed because the added filters also added too much sp so I accomplished that by adding a 10k potentiometer.
I then also added a heavy duty latching push switch with blue led light to energize the unit.
Working my way from the unit out, those first 5 modifications happen to the unit itself but out side the unit I have to add an a/c to d/c converter because the unit runs on 36vdc I added a 120v power cord leading to the converter and from the converter to the unit I used the same whip (cable) that came attached to the unit.
I had to get some help on figuring out how to and where to wire up this unit but once I found someone that knew there stuff it was easy as pie!
Any questions feel free
Guess-ta-mate... Total I think I spent around less than $200
Once I gather receipts and tally everything up I can update that.

whered u get it? nice and thin. apparently so thin you had to prop it up? I like the handles too!
doesn't the potentiometer just reduce the speed or does it actually increase it? I added one to my stir plate and it only reduced the speed. Im no electrical engineer tho

I got mine from eBay, you can just google used ffu’s for sale or search ebays search bar for used ffu’s and YES!!! That’s one of the thing I love about it, it is so thin...
Flow hoods/flow cabinets are huge and heavy as heck and if you make one that is not that big or heavy and it rattles way too much...
This tool is a dream come true!
Yes the potentiometer is used to add then lower resistance and that is how the speed is controlled with these devices known as pots or potentiometers and by adding resistance you ARE reducing the speed.
Thing is... on this unit in particular when I connect the pink and brown wire (the switch) without the potentiometer the unit runs on its lowest option.
Since I added 2 pre-filters the lowest option is not enough.
So then I tried just connecting the red and orange wire (highest setting) with a wire nut, but then that was way to high, it would have burnt out those fans in no time...
So my last option was to add a 10k potentiometer (with the brown, red & orange wires) just like there already was in the original system before they severed all the wires coming out of the unit which grabs that max speed and reduces it.
As far as your stir plate goes, you graves an already high setting and lowered it, for me it was to low so I took it as high as it went and then reduced it.

ah, yes. I have one as well. Love it! mine was wired for 270V so it neededa transformer as well but it only came with 1 wiring configuration and with my pre-filter I have to run it at the highest setting. I guess if Im saving the filter with a pre-filter I wont need to increase the speed as long as I keep it from clogging

Oh that’s strange that it only came with one setting.
Maybe it isn’t full speed like you think, I mean it’s probably really high but not exactly full speed.
Mine seems to go full full speed cuz if I leave at that without turning it down some and it’ll certainly burn out relatively quick.

That’s fucking solid brother really great work. Totally innovative by the looks of it.

You guys are costing me money! I just made a sab, set up a gourmet cabinet, bought a bunch of lights, been putting oysters to pasty plates, and 12 jars so far.
I need a legit pc, I wanna run spawn bags and bag clips for g2g.
I have seen a few kits that come with a tupperware looking spawn container can anyone point me I. That direction?

I don’t think anyone here is going to link you to any kits. Jars and bags are optimal for grain spawn, trying to find plastic spawn jars is a waste of time in my opinion. If you want disposable go with bags.
