Someone tag gypsycurse!! If that’s possible, he was talking about this in another thread a couple weeks ago!!
Here’s my spawn shelf, trying to see how to keep spawn temps con state without a heater thru the winter as my basement is concrete and I’ve blocked all the vents 😂 shameless cross post

Don’t Be fooled by the cords that look like they’re going on there, they’re plugged into lamps on the other side of the room. 1 outlet problems. Had to post a new tool since I wanted to comment about gyps seeing that coir mixer.

Niceeeee. What are you using for air circulation? Is that zipper adhesive? (p.s. you've got mail).

Zipper is adhesive, and the bottom is completely open, so the jars can do their gas exchange. Just passive FAE. Also heard, I’m sending all trades out Friday if anyone else doing a trade with me is reading.
Some serious life shit going on. Keeping up with the necessities of the operation but have had a hard time sitting down to get the prints ready, for a good amount of shite to send out. Don’t worry, Friday’s the day!

That zipper is a great idea!
Word. Thanks for remembering and helping me get back in the game.
Sorry to hear about the life shit . Hopefully it's temporary? Hang in there, amigo. Let me know if there's anything some random guy on a mushroom forum can do to help.

I have the white ones. They're great. They don't stick like the metal lids.
The grey lids are supposed to be even better than the white. You don't need to sand them to get RTV to adhere to them. Makes applying SFD and Tyvek a lot easier. They might also be more durable, but I'm not certain there.

I am using them unmodified for lc lids and I use the white ones already for lc's. These claim to be leak proof but we will see if that is true after pcing. I left the lids just slightly loose to hopefully keep them in tact while they cook.
I'm always nervous while swirling because I know the white ones can leak. I tried using one peice metal lids but I find the threads are difficult to maneuver on and off during sterile work. these gray lids feel very smooth and solid so it's promising so far...

Vintage, gasketless, thin walled and most likely not able to pressure up to 15 psi. Going to steam brown rice with it and I know that doesn't sterilize it and the PC might blow up on me. I just think it's better than the stock pot I was using.

... how much did u spend on that? why not just get a regular one? That may do the trick for small batches of grain, but i wouldnt run a case thru that.

Jbgtaa, I may get a PC proper in the coming weeks but for now I figure it's better than steaming like I have been. Cost $20. It's tall and about 20 qt. Could fit (3) 1 quart jars. Oh, I'll use a plastic zip n lock containers. Might melt?

Chipsandwich, that's impressive. Happy for those that can get good tools for this hobby.

$60 NZD so about $38 USD. I'm in New Zealand it costs an arm and a leg to get anything posted here, especially big things like a pressure cooker. The one in the link you posted is about $80 USD for postage

At least they're sending me a new one but they want me to send the old one with no lid back. Lol. When did amazon get so cheap?
LOL Amazon gave up refunded me my money guess they had trouble figuring out why they have no lids, because originally they were going to resend with lid.
Now I got 2 1000mL bottles for free, just need to buy lids :
