Howdy Partners!
Got a new job and its been tough keeping up with my plants. My trees are way to big for inside and I need to trim them down for this winter. Next winter hopefully ill have my greenhouse done and size wont be a issue.
I know its semi late in the year but Ive asked a few times with no luck so I decided to make a thread. Will someome please help me take some cuttings? A link to a nice tek or a simple explanation will be greatly appreciated.
Here are my babies which were grown from cuttings sent last year by pinedownpioneer.
I want to spread the love like I said I would. Its plenty of newbie and expert growers out there id love to make happy by sending a couple of fresh cuttings.
Please? These trees mean a lot to me. Thanks for reading!

Personally I think you’re better of waiting until new growth next spring. I pruned mine pretty hard at the end of the season and the mother plants didn’t do as well when it got warm again. Also this is a terrible time to take on some Kratom clones unless you’ve got a dedicated indoor setup. You’re plants aren’t that big, do yourself a favour and wait until late Spring 2020. Your mother plants will do much better and your cuttings will have a much better chance of growing big enough to survive the next winter.

they look big enough for cuttings to me.. no offense jizzmaster, some good points, it is getting to late/cold for cuttings, but might work if keep them inside.
what i use to do, that worked well was: take cutting below the node, leaving two or three leaves on top, take several cuttings, and place into plastic cup of water, then place cup into plastic bucket, make sure no leaves touch the sides. add a splash of water in the bucket, and cover with clear plastic bag.. this makes a humidity dome, so the leaves don't dry out before they grow some roots. keep some light on them, wait a month or two, whala.. 80% success rate.
i saw another person make a rooting tray out of perlite and humidity dome with good results.

Huh, never tried rooting them in water. Just moist soil inside some sort of clear humidity tub. During the spring/summer.
