 Kratom causing acne

It seems kratom causes me to break out im in my mid 30's and have more breakouts now than when i was a teenager anyone else notice this ? i currently do 30GPD i really dont want to have to stop kratom i wish there was a solution to stop the breakouts

Im at around 14-20 GPD, I take lots of 2 gram doses, sometime every hour, I dont get very many pimples

It fucks with my complexion and have circles under my eyes but I thinks that's from not drinking enough water.

I get hella dehydrated too. Other than that no acne or circles.

You could try taking a couple doses of psyllium husk fibre a day. I used to get awful constipation from kratom, massive brick shits or tiny brick shits, but it still sucked. Now it is much better 
I fluctuate between 35GPD to 50GPD. Right now I'm back up to about 40-45GPD but I am trying to cut back again. It isn't difficult to cut your doses in half slowly, without feeling uncomfortable.
I dunno if kratom makes my acne worse. I don't think it does but it's possible, I still get the odd pimple here or there

I’m trying to think of what the ‘mechanism’ would be that would ultimately lead to acne. Can dry skin cause acne?

A lot of issues with skin, acne, dandruff, etc are the results of poor diet/nutrition. Also genetic factors, but these genetic factors often tie into poor diet having a worse effect
If you have pets, its easy to observe. Feed them shitty dry food and they will have dandruff and poor coats. Switch to even cheap wet food and their coats will improve, dandruff will go away

If anything my diet is better than ever I eat lots of veggies, I dont eat out much, eat lots of chicken and healthy meals. I find i get breakouts when winter comes so i think it has to do with the dry air i also live in a desert so it gets extremely dry in the winter i just dont understand why all of a sudden now im getting zits when i never really got them before the only thing i can think of thats changed is me taking kratom daily im on no medications. I was addicted to opiates for 5 years and 2 years ago i finally kicked them cold turkey (worst experience of my life), about a year after i quit opiates i found out about kratom sure would have been nice to help me quit fentanyl. anyway i feel im healthier now than i have been since i was a kid only issue is im getting breakouts like im a teenager. I have quit Kratom a few times for vacations out of the country in the last year with minor withdrawals wouldn't even call them withdrawals compared to fentanyl and the acne seemed to get better by the end of the 2 weeks of not using but of course then when i got back from vacation i would start taking kratom again. It would be nice to find a solution to this rather than having to stop using kratom i find it helps big time with keeping my mind off wanting to use harder drugs

hmm i dunno  that's great you're eating healthy
i'm not sure how kratom would relate to acne. Only possible link I could see is maybe something to do with dehydration like others have mentioned, but maybe its just coincidence?
You didn't have any similar problems while on opiates?

Oily skin is more prone to/the cause of acne than dry skin. Bouts of stress can cause breakouts, regardless of how good ones diet is.
High stress always causes me to break out a bit. Heavy ketamine use gives me spots too, but more of them and much smaller. Never had the issue with kratom.

I break out every once in awhile, but I do have a white head problem. It's not bad and you can't see them, but I can get my 2 index fingers and squeeze WHs out on my nose.

Kratom gives me terrible cystic acne and a strange vertigo like feeling that comes and goes. So I can’t enjoy the stuff at all.

Hmm. Thanks, I’ll look into that. My acne has mostly cleared up over the past couple of years, but every time I’ve tried kratom it causes an outbreak that lasts for a week or more.

If anything my skin has cleared up and improved since I've been taking kratom over the past 7+ years.
My diet has also improved a bit over the years too, so hard telling ...But kratom has certainly not given me acne or caused any breakouts. I used to have acne really bad as a teenager.
And some of ya'll take massive amounts of kratom every day, sheesh  .......I've been taking it daily for 7+ years, I take about 3g per day (1.5g to 2g taken twice a day) and it still works for me just fine.

the only other thing i can think of is rebound hormones from been a opiate addict i know after i got clean my testosterone levels sky rocketed maybe they haven't leveled off yet its been two years so you would think by now i would be back to normal levels
