Anyone remember the old arcade fighting game.. Fuck what was it now... Had something to do with time..
But basically you could hack off peoples limbs and decapitate them mid match, it was cool because even if you just lost an arm you could keep fighting.. Came out around the same time as the mortal kombat/street fighter 2 hey day.
Ah yes, 'time killers'... Had to do a bit of googlemancy for that one lol
But ya, 12 year old me thought it was absolutely insane.. Which it kind of was I guess
I would always pick the mohawk guy with the chainsaw.

Kirby’s Dreamland for NES, SNES and Gameboy also Kirby Crystal Shards for N64
SNES Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose
The original Golden Sun for GBA
Street Fighter Alpha III At the arcade I beat M. Bison but not the two fighter which appear simultaneously on same stage right after him. But credits did roll
For PC, Croc 2: Legend of the Gobbos
PC - Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland (1996) Used to rock this joint with my cousin being chased through town through the park with the bushes blurring by then just the puddles of that pale red blood and getting trapped in a maze having to escape from being chased again by what? You guessed it!? A giant werewolf and it is especially bloodthirsty. Figuring out what happened to the towns people isn’t an easy mystery. Not sure if there was a giant rat, but definitely a werewolf and you can see that beast around the corner with those big feet that big smiling head and those gigantic hands with nails on those fingertips You start to wonder what that sound is and when you realize it is your own heart pounding in your chest... well, that’s when you start to wonder if you have been cursed by the devil

Speaking of older, awesome fighting games, I wish they made more games like Power Stone for DC, that was just fucking amazing! IMO that whole console was just so ahead of its time (and competing with ps1 and n64, so it was way, way, more powerful). Hell it allowed for Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament online multiplayer, on a 56k modem! And there was magically almost Zero lag, I couldn’t believe it.
Croc/Croc2 was pretty cool. I really like the Gex games, it was just like mario64 with nonstop movie references. Came out the same time as Croc, so I remember picking one, I went with Gex due to the more open world
But yeah, I think Link to the Past was one of the first games to really explore the open world mechanic
Anyone play anything multiplayer lately? I have PC, PS4, Switch. Hell even mobile. They made Call of Duty free to play on mobile, and I will say it’s a blast with no forced spending or wait times. Id say it’s fully functional and def worth a try.

All great games!
Anyone remember Golden Sun on the GBA? Those two titles were excellent. Always stood out to me for on the go RPGs.
Playing the shit out of Mega Man X on the SNES this morning.

I do.. But I'm on xbox... I have a tablet but it's a $40 piece of shit from wal-mart, it really fucking struggles with even the easiest apps lol, I can't even imagine trying to game on it, half the time it doesn't even register my touch, it's really a sad piece of shit
I'm thinking of maybe building a gaming rig this year tho if my budget will allow it, but so far that's lookin a little iffy, I'm so fucking far behind on rent and child support it makes me want to cry 😥
As for dreamcast, I barely remember it... My friend had one but couldn't really find games for it around our parts, once I got a ps1 we never really looked back.. I can't remember the name of the name of it but there was a sick racing game we used to play on DC, think it was 'daytona usa' or something like that, other than that one game nothing really sticks in my mind from that system... I do remember being blown away by the graphics at the time though.
Anyone remember the '3DO'?... Shit I remember when that came out my poor little 13 year old mind was blown to shreds by the graphics on that thing, too bad the games mostly sucked tho.
Lookin back to those days it'd be nice to have more competition along side the big 3 again... I remember the 'turbo graphx 16', way ahead of it's time, the 16 bits at that point was fucking amazing, had some sweet games too. Then the snes/genesis came out and it kinda just disappeared

I remember 3DO and when it came out, and it quickly went bust but I recall a ps1-like system with cd rom support, I guess they just didn’t release many games.
My fav “failed” system is prolly NeoGeo, mostly cause it was all arcade games. And it’s great to emu
I hear that at the time, a single game could be in the hundreds! And I think it was something like $600 for the system
I wonder how much a Time Crisis arcade machine would run, I prolly wouldn’t buy it, but I spent many many quarters with that game. I like the foot-controlled-duck/reload. I never really played the real PS1 version, but I’ve emulated TC and Point Blank, awesome games!
What was that arcade shooter where you had a shotgun instead of a pistol and it was horror themed? Crypt Killer or something? That was some pre-House of the Dead fun

Oh ya.. The neogeo... Never had the chance to play anything on it, it was way too expensive.. I definitely remember seeing it in the gaming magazines I used to read and drooling over it though

I never had one, but I would emu it, was great, like an unlimited coin arcade machine
MAME has much wider compatibility but NeoGeo can be emulated real easy, same with capcom’s CPS2 (Marvel vs Capcom etc). I also found an emulator for namco arcade games like Tekken 2/3 and Sega arcade games as well.
NeoGeo has some real fun coop games. I also really like Samurai Showdown
I’d love a Time Crisis machine or Point Blank, they’re really fun even on psx emu

Anyone else find Mega Man 2 to be a bit overrated in hindsight? I feel like 4-6 on the NES are extremely overlooked! Been on a Mega Man 1-6 kick all week .

Oh dude, Samurai showdown was the tits! .. Pretty sure I played it on ps1, or maybe even snes?.. But upon reading the wiki about it, couldn't have been SNES as I distinctly remember cutting people in half and shit, which was apparently censored in that version.
I didn't realize neogeo did coop stuff.. Wasn't it pretty much all fighting games?, that's all I can remember from neogeo anyway.
