What is the proper method for harvesting the root bark, and approx how much can I expect to yield from a two foot plant?

i have no experience with desmanthus but i would guess the dry season would be best... (as for mimosa hostilis).

i don't think a couple feet tall plant will be of much value, unless you kill it for a couple or so doses...
is it an aged plant at least? a thick bonsai?

not much..... you should wait until the plant is nearly full grown before harvesting any of its roots, otherwise youll end up with very little. the proper way to harvest the roots and keep the plant alive is to only take the roots that grew out sideways and not the one that grew directly downward.

here's 75 dried grams of DIRB that i harvested from several plants out in my yard.

deep blue how would you compare desmanthus to other sources of DMT as far as potency and energy?

generally... its pretty similar to mimosa potency. the bark is alot thinner , so its easier to grind,proccess etc...    energy..um the same i suppose.. i dont make an Ayahuasca drink from it though, i only extract and smoke the D.. so it always feels basically the same to me no matter what source i get it from.  and i live in illinois so it grows all over my yard, its like a big yummy weed :tongue2:

On Erowid, somewhere it states that its best to let a plant grow at least 2 years before harvesting. (more goodies)

I think it's 3 years, and that's for one that's growing outside in full sun.
