Habitat - South Texas, In cow/horse shit.
Characteristics of gills - attched, white.
Measurements - cap 3", stem about 7"
Characteristics of stem - white, hollow, doesnt bruise any color.
Characteristics of cap - white and light brownish at the top.
Scent - smells like a regular mushroom.









Habitat - South Texas, in the dirt
Characteristics of gills - white, attached,
Measurements - the big one's stem is 4" and the cap is 6" the smaller one's stem is 3" and the cap is 4"
Characteristics of stem - white, hollow
Characteristics of cap - white, some little brown specs on top
Scent - like a regular mushroom

my guess would be coprinus comatus... but i would wait for an expert opinion, of course...

if it is, it's a good edible!! :tongue:

The fisrt one is Coprinus comatus?
Because they are 2 differnt mushrooms.

they are both shaggy mane mushrooms... edible but non active... pick as many as u can eat in one sitting cause they turn to mush after a few days!
