Other people like scops as well. Wouldn't need to cut much length wise being so fat. Some of the bridgesii are thin.
I'm enjoying the mornings in my cactus garden. Sun shining on them all covered in dew. Look magical.
Next time you try a scop/bridge mix write about it. That's not for everyone it seems. So few cactus trip reports here.
Mushrooms there are an abundance of them. I find the opposite myself when it comes to relating experiences. Mushrooms its top secret ego based like I actually matter.
Cactus I know I don't so blah blah blah feels good to let the world know what an idiot I am. Ha ha.

Thanks for the PM Grey Fox. Very positive effect for the scop/ bridge combo. Mp wrecks me the next day. That's after taking it around 10am.
Have a lot of trouble sleeping. Then still have visuals the next morning on most.
I wouldn't recommend the experience for a pleasant trip. My cherished beliefs get ferretered out and crushed into oblivion. It's rewarding towards the end when I feel free from my old self with its dogma.
Make most of the bridgesii I've tried look tame. Exceptions being Tig, HB06, Kai, SAB Eileen, Mum and Dad and Br2 seedling. They share that power.
My new phone is a total bastard. Makes posting on the internet a nightmare. Reception is so bad where I live.

I don't have the time because of this phone's idiosyncratic dysfunctions. However point is these cacti are STRONG..
Two nights ago I tripped on a potent pheno of P.subaeruginosa I call witches hat pheno. Took 50g fresh. For about an hour and a half the trip compared with Mp in intensity.
Anthropomorphic feelings like turning from coyote to cat then to snake during the peak.
On Mp that feeling is extended into twice as long at least. Subs I feel wasted next morning but get over it. Mp it takes all day to recover.

Thank you for all your work
50g fresh what exactly? Whole plant or green skin?

In town so good reception for a moment. Mp 16 1194g short spine. 37"x4" across.
Removed 8" top to regrow. Spines on this one are about the same as on pachanoi Rod. Mp 16 is a much fatter cactus though.
Way stronger as well! Taste was tangy and horrible. Like the other short spine Mp. Started coming on 40 mins after I took it. That's 11.40am.
Started seeing foxes or dingoes on the wall in my bathroom. They turned into coyotes in profile. Went for a walk. Felt very euphoric.
Kind of a softer more sensual feeling than other Mp I tried. Less speedy but just as colourful. Became hard to walk so Iwent home walking into kaleidoscopes of colour.
Hung around home for hours too out of it to do anything. Cacti looked magic Along with a purple sat line from India The yellow leaves contrasting with the purple stems and heads really caught my attention when visiting them
Was growing snow peas in vacant holes next to them to get the N in the soil up a bit for spring. Looked so exotic with snow pea white flowers draping close to the plants.
Rang my brother to tell him about them. Took 5 mins to get through because I was too out of it to use the phone. Plus reception is crap.
I kept telling him the plants looked like Siamese cats in a Thai pergola. He just kept saying ' I don't know what you mean. Funny that. It made perfect sense to me at the time.
Lit the fire and stared into the rainbow flames for hours. Did a lot of coyote howling. Made me feel warm and content inside.
I fell in love with that fire. Those flames just carresed my senses in unimaginable ways. The trip wouldn't wear off. 2.30am went to bed Took me until 4.30am to fall asleep amidst all the colours in my vision.
Next day woke up about 9.30am. Wrecked, could hardly move. Spent the rest of the day exhausted. Very hard to walk dogs. Day after that I still felt wasted but okay.
Today, that's day 3 afterwards I feel fine.

Wow sounds like a good one. Long and strong. Thanks again
Amazing how good they are only 3 years from seed. That’s exciting news for everyone growing seedlings!

Four years now. Well that one would be four and a half years old.
Anyway thanks guys. They are hard core compared to mushrooms. That's my biggest problem. I'm not young so my body takes a fair while to get over the trip.
Getting up the next day and doing taichi presents its difficulties to put it mildly.
When the cactus bug bites I'll cut another for sure. I'm very interested in their effect.
When they are sexually mature it would be interesting to pollinate bridgesii Tig and vice versa with their pollen.
The speed Tig Yowie hybrids grow at my place is amazing. Right into winter now. So MpxTig may grow fast also. Plus have more mescaline from Mp in the cross rather than Yowie.

Heyowana I hear what you're saying about the toll it takes on the body. I have been liking less intense doses these days for that reason. It is good to go deep sometimes, but it just destroys my stomach and wears my body out so bad. A few months ago I drank some tea and had terrible vasoconstriction in my arms. Recently I drank tea again and it was an amazing time. It was a lighter dose, but very enjoyable, and I had almost no physical side effects at all. One thing I did differently is that for several days prior to the trip I started observing the MAOI diet. I like blue cheese and eat it pretty frequently, so that was the main thing I abstained from. I'm starting to think that observing the MAOI diet may have played a role in reducing physical discomfort. I will definitely do it again. It may be something that you want to try next time to see if it helps you.

Thanks. Been vegan for 6 months until Mp16. Wasn't getting enough for my needs from that diet.
Believe it or not that kind of detox diet isn't the greatest for generating chi.
So started cooking up soupbones in stews. Face and hands had their reddish hue returned from taichi generating more chi on that diet.
Did notice that my stomach felt rough for a couple of days after Mp16. It happens frequently though after cactus tea so I accept it as part of the experience.
I agree they knock me around. It's kind of worth it. It's like that clearlight LSD from the old days. My world gets turned upside down for a while.
In spite of any negative stuff I say about cactus tea. I LOVE IT! Wish I'd encountered them when I was younger.

I'm growing a bunch of seeds from mutucana right now. I'm curious as to how everyone else is doing, any updates?

Good luck with your seedlings. I've stopped testing mine for the time being. Too much of a good thing maybe.
Psychosomatic nausea when I think about drinking tea lately. Ones I haven't cut are growing well. Tallest would be 5 feet now I think.

I'm curious about getting actual quantative bioasseys done. I also have some brigeskii going as well.
I'm planning on doing mine under full spectrum artificial grow grow lights. Hopefully with that and good nutrient soil I can have a good base line.

I found 1200-1250g to be a good dosage with 90 percent of the Matucana pachanoi I've tried. Comparable to bridgesii potency at that dosage but different effect.

Being an enthusiast of differences in mushroom effects from one species to another. I need to qualify my statement about Mp vs bridgesii.
Bit like apples and oranges. I've tried two bridgesii with effects akin to Mp. Jess and Mum and Dad. Like their names! Jess was a bit weak at 1000g. Mum and Dad wasn't.
Anyway it's that sublime sensuousness for want of better words I like with Mp. A lot of the heavy hitting bridgesii I tried don't have that. Even SAB Eileen is harder or rougher in effect like most strong bridgesii I've tried.

I've read there's an argument over pachonoi and Peruvianus being different or the same. Seedlings I'm growing out are labeled Peruviansus from mutucana.
Any opinions on that?
