I don't, for the life of me, know why we have to disagree about this. Anyone who has seen the science knows it's happening. It's exactly like "believing" or "not believing" in evolution. Same thing.

That is exactly true!

I bet a lot of republicans rather believe the bible myths over the actual truth.

There are thousands and thousands of projections of what happens when we die.  One thing I do know is that religion is wrong.  In the dream world, you make your own rules.  There is no governing body.

So your fears, your myths, your hopes and desires all play a roll.

But we are not dead, we are living.  So let's not let myth and rumor Govern our decisions.

And yet, the people in the "not believing" camp continue to run the show. It comes down to political scale ; and how in society,it seems things could not be more polarized ala no middle ground. We have to find common ground; otherwise ill will to the populace.

....wars are fought for economic reasons. Climate change policies/ regulations/implementation will not be immune from this.

How is not getting hysterical about some hypothetical outcomes ignorant?  Stressing out about the climate changing isn't healthy.

Hypothetical? Countless examples of the current detrimental changes due to climate change. They're worse than predicted and are a deeply troubling indication of what is to come. How could you be that uneducated about the effects?

In France businesses are offered incentives to frow trees and gardens on the roofs of big buildings. There are things we can do if we don’t just ignore it and slash the EPA by 80%

So the climate is changing in some places, it happens. Does the climate ever change for the positive?

Climate is changing drastically all across the world, as a result of burning fossil fuels at an all time high.

Don't take my word for it, take NASA's:

https://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/

I would love to know how you could read this and still be in such denial?

What am I denying?  I have always acknowledged man made climate change.

That sure doesn't sound like someone acknowledging man made climate change...

More SOB's now.

What does dumping a new substance into the atmosphere on a planetary scale, enough to cool the earth,  sound like to you?  Wanna do that?  The technology is not far from being ready and it’s affordable, but it could cause massive changes in regional weather patterns and eradicate blue sky.

Here is a representative of the so-called elite pushing just that, while saying Fossil fuel divestment has ‘zero’ climate impact, says Bill Gates. Remarkable thing to say, you sure get an on-message headline with that.

Let me guess.  This enterprise would be something that is to be privately owned and profited off of.  The stock market would gain.  Only communists on the left hate that kind of success.  Besides, the real solution called the green new deal has windmills that cause cancer, and you can't watch TV unless the wind blows.  Zing.

How come you exhibit this extreme nonchalance towards human-caused climate change but not towards human migration?

I'm sure you have a good reason for this glaring contradiction, but on the surface it kinda looks like you are not participating with good faith in this discussion on climate change.

The weather in the US has been business as usual, I don't see the need to get hysterical about it.

Migration is a different story entirely, I don't want my homeland invaded by illegals from the third world. I just want the existing immigration laws enforced.

Where is the contradiction?
