The story of the Napes continue. I was checking some old plates (original plate is from 8/13, and I have already transferred it 3 times on agar lol), and this is a first for me. A pin on a pin clone plate!

This has me on F3! Shit! I haven't even taken it to spawn yet. Look at that chonker!
This all came from a light-tan nape that pumped out a ton of spores. The goal, to go from APE to NAPE to a printable albino. This is what I want to give back to the community, and I'm hopeful on this one.
F1 --> F2 --> F3
I'm going to grow out both F2 and F3 soon to see if I can hunt anything printable from either of them. I know people don't really recommend a clone of a clone, etc, so I'm not going crazy on it, but it's still fucking cool as fuck.

Gourmets are weird with coir IME... I use all natural, hardwood sawdust from a sawmill... I don't even supplement anymore: just use higher spawn ratio... one gallon of spawn goes to 3 1gal sawdust blocks (~1.33qts per)
Just cut open a few blue oyster blocks: THIS is what I look for prior to removing the top of the bag... I find fruiting this way to yield more plentiful and smaller fruit:which I find most chef's prefer... cutting X's will produce the same weight yeild, but often in fewer, larger fruit... which arguably have their applicability as well...

Sometimes blues throw these nodules and the orange metabolites: which I've seen both in response to contamination, and conditional stress (too hotespecially)... I've also seen them on seemingly healthy blocks thst fruit fantastically through 3 flushes so... I don't pay it much mind anymore... that said, I've also seen blue oyster straight quarantine trich in a straw log, and also fruit several flushes, so it ALL mightbe dirty lol

Nice work shaper!

Male banter fs it’s only a rake...plenty of females out there who can handle a bit of craic. It’s funny because it’s immature.
Although this is about cultivating so that’s the end of it from me

Correct ...
Annnd probably less psilocin content. Most actives contain a number of psychoactive alkaloids. The two most abundant and important are psilocybin (most present) and psilocin (typically next most present). Our bodies convert psilocybin to psilocin and that is the active chemical that makes us trip. Psilocin is more vulnerable to breaking down and the psilocin in fresh mushrooms tends to be degraded in the drying process. (See linked article). Thus, fresh mushrooms will tend to be slightly more potent (after adjusting for 90% water weight) than the same mushroom dried. The metabolic process of converting psilocybin to the active psilocin also means that if your fresh mushroom has a decent psilocin content the come up will be slightly faster as your body doesn’t have to convert it first. This article also suggests we should be drying our mushies at lower temps to preserve more psilocin...

When ever one of your kind says "females" all I think is...

Also, it's not that I can't handle some good ol' fashion sexual harassment, it's that I tend to go to the club for that, not expecting it when I'm posting pictures of mushrooms

I've both seen someone ask this exact question, and show similar bags at least twice. The consensus seems to be: that's how it looks... yup.
