New and need help <3

Unfortunately I have no way in getting any mushrooms from friends or anything, I have no way of purchasing spores online to grow them myself and I've resorted to doing my research to go and pick my own. I have no idea where to start there's so much to learn it's a little overwhelming, not sure if you guys happen to have any tips on where I could find any, particularly in the Algonquin Park area for my Canadian lovelies. I've looked into the Panaeolus Cinctulus mushroom but as far as actually going out and finding one, I'm not sure. Appreciate any help :smile:

Issues with the bank, Paypal and similar services don't work, I have no way to buy things online unless a prepaid vanilla card is acceptable.

Any recommended sites, I'm much too skeptical to take a sites word for being safe.

Please don't pick random mushrooms. That's like playing Russian roulette but there are many bullets and not just one. Some species can destroy your liver and kidneys.

Dont eat random mushrooms

Spores in Canada are easy to find

Would recommend finding them within canada and nothing from out of the country

you're gonna have a bad time finding magic mushrooms in ontario

you might find Psilocybe quebecensis or a Gymnopilus species, but I never found any, im about 2-3 hour drive west from Algonquin


Panaeolus Cinctulus is your best bet, I had these two horses in maybe 2013-2014, any tons of Cinctulus were growing in my backyard, then we got rid of those horse and started boarding 2 horses that belong to a friend of ours, but when we switched horses the mushrooms stopped growing

if you know someone who has horses try looking in the horse pasture at the right time of year (sorry I forget when they grow), if you find Panaeolus papilionaceus or Panaeolus antillarum, keep looking theres a good chance you will find some cinctulus

well be careful alot of wild shrooms are poisonous and not edible, if you ate a deathcap for example, it could create a huge stomach ache

nope theres one more but they only sell microdoses and I forgot the name, plus the Malabar shrooms are about the same price as street mushrooms, only the penis envy are incredibly overpriced

if the listing is still up, but is sold out, that means they are expecting more in the next month, they take down listings that they wont get more of
