Garden gypsum in Germany

Hello community. :laugh:
I've been reading a lot and want to try my first experiments.
You guys write a lot about garden gypsum and I tried finding it in Germany.
Do you have any idea about what I am looking for exactly? I am sure it can be found easily under another name. The term gypsum or the direct translation don't work.

The exact name is called "calcium carbonate"

You can use ground up sheetrock panels but make sure they're not drywall panels since they contain fire retardant chemicals and anti fungicides.

RR uses pelletlized gympsum but I've yet to find it at any nursery or garden center here in canada. Only sheetrock panels....

Are you certain it is calcium carbonate?
On wikipedia Gypsum is stated to be calcium sulfate dihydrate. :smile:

But I guess if I buy that it should be fine, right?

It is not calcium carbonate.

It is calcium sulfate dihydrate.

They are different, do not sub one for the other.
