Habitat: growing out by my yard not far away from where i walk into the house, we have a guard dog that is always outside and by the dog house is where i found clusters of these mushrooms, we have chickens that graze and poop everywhere
Gills: are attached to the stipe and are a rusty light brown .
Stem: off set white, thick in diameter and in the smaller clusters they are thin at the top
Cap: wavy, bottle cap resemblance Spore print color: white rusty brownish Very important!
Bruising: no bruising that i can see on the stipe or cap of the mushroom
Other information: they were growing in great clusters and then some were in troops around my house, there was also smaller spores growing beside them that were little babies, they were all white cap and stem

Sorry they are not wavy caps. Look in woodchip beds and always check for bruising/purple brown spores.
I'm sure someone will chime in soon as to what these actually are

At the risk of being totally off, I wanna guess its a Cortinarius of some sort.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

To answer a couple of your questions - yes learn more about mushrooms, especially cyans and their deadly lookalikes, if those are the mushrooms you seek. No, you cannot die handling mushrooms, doing so is perfectly safe, just don’t eat any you aren’t 100% sure of what they are. Read over some old PNW actives threads, you’ll find plenty of photos of cyans there.
Good luck & happy hunting!

I'm thinking these are two different species. Compare the first one to Agrocybe species, and the second one to Lyophyllum species. None of them are Psilocybe cyanescens or any other active species.
