Okay,
So I have had some crazy shit luck with an alacabensi print.
Reallly fuuuuucking slow to colonise anything. Turned the greenest of trich green when spawned. . .
Left a couple of agar plates the hope a pin would magically appear.
Instead I got these weird blobs. . .
I’m guessing this either isn’t cube myc, or its a weird mutant?

Toss it to grain. Send it to bulk and fruit it, then you'll find out wtf..

Tried that. . . Everything went green, except a cased grain jar and a cased grain tub. . .
Only grew fuzzy blobs. . .
I have 8 brf cakes of the same as a last ditch effort. . .
Think I may have either a now fruiting colony, or something else entirely. . .

Doesn't look great. Bite the bullet. Toss it.
So what are you using to sterilize your grain What pressure for what length of time? 7/15 is nearly half your work trash .. Are you using proper SAB technique as well?

The print was 2 years old. Only one tiny dot of myc appeared after 30 days. . . Will definitely toss, as is has caused nothing but learning (read pain and suffering failure).
Was nearly ready to chuck in the towel, when I noticed a pin growing on an early GT plate. . .
Finally a fruit to clone. . . There is still hope . . .

If it was an old print that is possible why you're getting that weird growth .. that's how mine was as well from all the old prints
