Panaeolus cyanescens ID
    #26182515 -

These are very dark and dry mushrooms that I found in cow dung under tall grass.
Round caps black or navy blue some have white dots on them. Caps about 1/2”
Long very thin stems about 4” also black or navy
Break apart dry texture crackles
Moderate taste.  Some of these caps make me want to munch
Strong smell

Inky spores not much print that I got out of these but appears black possibly staining the mushrooms as well
Coloration could be due to bruising and spores

Gulf coast

Here is an old pan cyan photo for reference:

Possibly Pan. Cyans But They Look Too Old To Ingest. The White Spots I Think Are Mold, I Find Dried Up Cubes That Look Like This All The Time.

They are Pans but not cyans IMO. I'd toss em'.

They're too dry to tell what they are. You're old pan cyan photo isn't really sufficient for identification, but it looks mostly like Panaeolus antillarum, but there might be a few P. cyanescens in there.

I'm pretty sure all of them got blue bruising in the old picture.  But it is from a couple weeks ago and with a lot of shadow in the picture.  Hard to tell.  Next time I find a good batch I'll try to make it more clear with a better picture

On the new pictures, the yellow spores onghere are from some brown cap amanita with white warts and yellow gills

As long as it has jet black spores.. there are dark brown spored look alike a that are toxic like Inocybe. If it is a true pan you should be fine. But really make sure they are jet black spores.

All panaeolus that grow on dung have black spore prints. Inocybe does not grow on dung.

Sorry my comment was in relation to ALL Pans.

I don’t think there are any KNOWN Pans considered toxic, grass or dung, but there are some close look alikes that inexperienced hunters get confused with. P. foes have brown prints.. and then there are the undescribed and unstudied species. I just find it a little reckless to blanket statement the whole genus.
But that’s just my 2 cents
